Using HTML Password Lock and will not open secure web site

I use a programme called HTML Password Protect to secure a web site for members only. They are required to enter a username and password. When type in the address the site appears on the correct page with the username and password request. We enter the username and password the opening page closes but then entry to the site does not happen. It works OK with all versions of Internet Explorer. To experience use Username = sue and Password = morax Many thanks
