When I search for items on the internet and click on any of the pages suggested by the search engine (any search engine) it does not take me to the page but other search enginees. How can I fix this?
I do a firrefox search or a search through my aol e-mail site and a usual the search returns pages of results. When I click on those results however I do not get the page being referred to but another search engine - a different one each time, whether it is Ask, Gomeo, Better Deals, whatever. Then I get a message saying that Firefox wants to access the internet, asking me to allow it to, when it is already connected to the internet. It often takes several clicks for me to get through to the page if I can get it t all.
