I have a PC laptop with a docking station and a second monitor (i.e. an ex extended desktop). When Firefox is open on the extended desktop monitor there is a tendency for the monitor to flicker on and off.

When Firefox is open on the extended desktop monitor there is a tendency for the monitor to flicker on and off. This happens occasionally with other browsers, but much more frequently with Firefox--sometimes 5-6 times per minute. It seems to occur more frequently when the window is maximized. If I move the Firefox window from my extended desktop monitor to my laptop screen neither screen flickers.
