Description: Bookmarks saved in the Bookmarks Toolbar on Firefox Desktop are not being synced to Firefox for iOS. Bookmarks saved in other folders (e.g. Bookmarks Menu) sync correctly and appear on iOS as expected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add a bookmark to the Bookmarks Toolbar on Firefox Desktop.
  2. Wait for sync or trigger sync manually.
  3. Open Firefox on iOS and check bookmarks.

Expected behavior: The bookmark appears in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder on iOS.

Actual behavior: The Bookmarks Toolbar folder on iOS still shows outdated content. Bookmarks in other folders sync without issues.

Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Disconnected and reconnected Sync on iOS
  • Reinstalled Firefox on iOS
  • Enabled background app refresh for Firefox on iOS
  • Verified that both devices are connected to the same Mozilla account (last sync timestamp confirmed on accounts.firefox.com)
