I've been to many sites with videos - and non are playing. Usually the video is just stuck on first frame. I restarted FF - with all add-ons disabled; and it didn't change anything.

WestEnd - update what? FireFox just updates automatically; I never need to do anything in the OS for that. And it's a forum; so people would mention if they would have a problem with the new version.

I am talking about Linux if it was misread.

You can download the latest Flash player plugin for Firefox on this page.

cor-el - I updated to "flashplayer-27.0.0.187-i386" - in the OS; and it doesn't seem to influence FireFox.

Also no one two problems are the same. This is true and will always be true. You can change FF settings to notify before updates and if it doesn't then that something that needs to be reported as a bug. But I had my reservation on the FF57 but how I made sure no problems happened from one update to another was a Image Restore and uninstalled the previous FF completely and then reinstalled FF57 to insure a clean install. Also the previous FF was x86 and the new was x64 so removing previous helped prevent conflicts and any problems that would occur. If users would release this if you have x64 O/S the version update will be x64 even if you had previous x85 version and that is where the problem will happen. One should uninstall any FF and reinstall Offline FF57 to match their O/S version.

WestEnd - FireFox versions for Puppy - are always very old; which then are automatically updated to the new. So I can't install 57 version.

Does Firefox 52.5.2 ESR work?

Note that updating the Flash wasn't related to your issue, but was meant as a recommendation to keep plugins updated. Most website use the HTML5 media player these days, so check that you have the latest FFmpeg packages.

You can also check out the Browser Console for error messages.

cor-el - I'm repeating everything here:

I have the latest FFmpeg packages.
Up until the 57 update - everything worked fine.

Any videos on any site - don't work equally; so indeed it shouldn't be flash player problem. And in other browsers (Pale Moon, SeaMonkey) - videos work.
