The drop down menu list and booking form on my website doesn't work

more options

The drop down menu list and booking form on my website doesn't open up and work on Mozzilla. As the function operates in other browsers this is something specific to Firefox. I think there is an extension or add-on which is stopping the functionality of my dropdown box.

For your information, I have searched Mozilla Firefox to see if this is a known issue, but is not. And I've tried all the options listed at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1020239, but no luck.

Please try for yourself to see my issue in real time cliking on the links below:

Please I need your help to fix this issue or I will have to ask my visitors to don't use Mozzilla when searching on my site, which is something very annoying.

Thank you!

Can you attach a screenshot to illustrate what links or buttons or menus aren't working?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Hi Corel.

Thank you for stopping by and trying to help me.

I've tried all you wrote above but it doesn't solve the problem I have.

I don't get any error! Simply when you try to open the drop down menu on some of my pages, or you are trying to fill out booking forms, it does not work. Everything is blocked!

I am experiencing this issue only with Mozzilla. All other browsers are working fine with my website.

I didn't see any menu items on the page(s) you posted when I visited your websites.

so could you pleas post a screenshot to show where you need to look for those elements?

I went to the page with the booking form and it's very odd:

  • I can't click into any field in the form
  • I can't select the label next to the field by double-clicking it
  • I can't select any text in the page by double- or triple-clicking it

If I disable JavaScript, the mouse works normally. So... check your scripts.

It's this:

function killCopy(e){return false}
function reEnable(){return true}
document.onselectstart=new Function("return false")
if(window.sidebar){document.onmousedown=killCopy
document.onclick=reEnable}

If I go into Firefox's web console (Ctrl+Shift+k) and paste the following and press Enter, it works normally again:

document.onmousedown=reEnable;

Maybe they should call that function "kill mouse".
