Recently closed tabs permanently grayed out when spliting 2 windows
Whenever I split Firefox into 2 Windows and place them 1 on each monitor, the Recently closed tabs doesn't work anymore and they just show gray.
Using Firefox 38.0.1

Please update to the most recent version of Firefox:
Do you mean you start with 1 window that has 2 tabs, and you move one of the tabs to a different new window and then move it to a second screen? The original window still should retain the closed tab history for that window, if any existed before, but the new window wouldn't have any close tab history yet. Does it work correctly up to that point?
And then going forward, does each window track its own closed tab history or is one or both of the windows failing to do that?

That was the most recent version "I think" when I posted that, but apparently Firefox is making new versions every 2 days now.
The problem is and isn't there, sometimes it does it, sometimes it does not.
I'll update and see if the problem makes present again.

Once I have 1 Window on Firefox on each monitor, tabs closed in either one of those windows, not showing on the "Recently closed tab" as it shows gray. It doesnt happens always, sometimes it does and sometime it does not.
I don't see why moving a window to a different monitor would change how the history menu works. I think there must be some other pattern to it that we just haven't spotted yet... but I only use one monitor at a time so I don't have any personal experience with it.
