Why is there extra page space on websites that didn't have it before?
Certain pages have large amounts of extra space that didn't have this before. This has been happening for the past two days or so. Idk if anyone else has had this problem. This has happened on more than one site, so I don't think it's a problem with the site itself. Anyone know how to fix this? Anyone experiencing the same problem?
I tried uploading an image but I'm getting an infinite loading screen on it. Not sure if it'll go through.

You may have zoomed web page(s) by accident. Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl/Command+0 (zero))
If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
The View>Zoom>Reset (Ctrl+0) made no changes to the page I tested it out on (I found a page that has the extra page space). I'll attach an image of my Advanced Font Settings. They seem to match up with what you suggested; I didn't have to make any changes. I still have this problem though.
You can rename (or delete) the content-prefs.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder to reset the page zoom for all websites.
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Locate the content-prefs.sqlite file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
You can use the Page Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to check the page layout.
FredMcD, I followed your instructions and deleted the file. After restarting I went to a page I assumed would have the problem (link below) and it still persists.

Unfortunately, given 4chan's setup, this link won't always be there as the thread will be deleted at some point. I can find other links if needed. Tumblr and 4chan seem to be the only sites I browse regularly which have this problem. I did Tools>Web Developer and got a list of options, but I don't know what to do from there. I'm not experienced in modifying the HTML or CSS of a page.
