I have spent sme considerable time trying to migrate all data from one pc to another. I am finally, with a new installation but none of the data (messages) from the old computer is available.

I guess I have to start all over again but need clear instructions.

In a pen drive I have a copy of the Thunderbird folder of the old computer

Also: I am in Portugal but need English version and cannot see how to do it

Tentei configurar 2 contas diferentes: gmail e hotmail em uma máquina com Windows 7. As duas contas apresentavam falhas de configuração. Após revisar todos os passos decidi instalar em outra máquina com windows 10 só para testar. Funcionou na máquina com Windows 10. Preciso usar o Thunderbird no Win 7 e sei que na página dos requisitos de sistema consta que funciona no Win 7. O que pode estar havendo? Se não funcionar terei que desinstalar e procurar outra saída. Me ajude, por favor....obrigada.

I tried setting up 2 different accounts: gmail and hotmail on a Windows 7 machine. Both accounts had configuration failures. After reviewing all the steps I decided to install it on another Windows 10 machine just to test. It worked on Windows 10 machine. I need to use Thunderbird on Win 7 and I know the system requirements page says it works on Win 7. What could be going on? If it doesn't work I will have to uninstall and look for another way out. Please help me....thank you.
