If we adjust the Reskovitz.com domain DNS settings at GoDaddy to point to a new site file, will this negatively affect the email for Reskovitz.com?

We designed a new website for Reskovitz.com and will adjust the DNS settings where the domain name is hosted to point to the new site file. However, will redirecting the DNS settings for the domain name have any impact on the current Thunderbird emails that end in Reskovitz.com? Are there any settings in the client's Thunderbird account that need to be adjusted since there will be a new website file, however the domain name of Reskovitz.com will be the same.

Additionally, can more emails for Reskovitz.com be set up in the client's Thunderbird account?
