Why does Firefox offer the passwords for ALL accounts when I have already chosen the username and specified which password is required?
I have several email accounts with Google. Due the nefarious nature of losers in life I have unique passwords for each account. When I access the sign-in page I am offered the username for the various accounts. So I choose the username for the account I wish to access and hit enter. On the next page I am asked to provide the password. Why does Firefox offer me the passwords for ALL of the accounts? I have already, on the previous page, determined specifically which account and unique corresponding password I wish to use. When I open Tools>Options>Security>Saved Logins the unique accounts, usernames, passwords are listed individually. Why is Firefox incapable of making that same distinction? I would offer a picture but that would just list all of my accounts and open me to MORE spam from losers.

On pages that do not have a username field, you'll see the list of usernames below the password field. Firefox apparently isn't able to match up the password field with the username field because Google's scripts remove it from the page and replace it with static text. I don't know whether anyone is planning to look into that, or whether it's not worth chasing sites that keep changing to evade Firefox's autofill feature.

Thanks for the explanation. Why can't we all just get along comes to mind. The general lack of cooperation and comaraderie is discouraging.
