Hi there,

I'm having an issue where I receive invitations by the owner of a calendar i subscribed to. I have to subscribe to the calendar to be able to schedule events with them.

When I receive the invite, it keeps saying "already processed" which is not the case. I dont have that event in my calendar and it has not been accepted.

I have checked that the subscribed calendar is not linked to my account (calendar settings, email account: empty) and the actual calendar is linked to my email account (calendar settings, my email account).

what should happen logically is the "subscribed" calendar should not be counted as my calendar, events should not be counted as already processed and invites should be clickable and then be transfered to the calendar linked to the receiving email address.

Mind you, thunderbird on mobile works like it should. Its only the linux client that has this issue.

I have been using Tbird & Yahoo successfully for years. The Yahoo made the change to require OAuth2. After that change I did get new mail. After that I couldn't receive new messages. I decide this could be fixed by removing my Yahoo account from Tbird and setting it up again.

1. 1 starting from Account Setup, I enter my name, email address and password.
2. 2 Before clicking Continue I disable blocking on my pi-hole in case that could be an issue.
3. 3 A pop-up with a Yahoo ad appears.
4. 4 I click next and enter my password and click next again.
5. 5 I check a box to agree to some terms and Agree
6. 6 Tbird gives me a green box saying, "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database.
7. 7 I ensure IMAP is selected and click Done.
8. 8 I get another pop-up from Yahoo
9. 9 I check a box to agree to some terms and Agree
10. 10 That green box turns yellow and now says, "Unable to log in at server, Probably wrong configuration, username or password."
11. 11 I can login to the Yahoo webmail page, and there I see a new message that start with, "Your Yahoo account XXXX was used to sign in to a new third part application on thunderbird."
12. 12 Accept cookies from sites is checked
13. 13 I am not using a VPN and my network is the same as when Yahoo and Tbird were playing nicely.
14. 14 Outgoing Server settings for Yahoo Mail list OAuth2 for Authentication method.

What else can I check to setup Yahoo with Tbird? Let me know if there are logs I can provide to help.

I have 4 email account. One account will not allow me to delete or send to junk box. When I press delete nothing happens. The emails (at least 30) that came in are marked junk too. The other 3 account work fine. I have had these 4 account for years and never had a problem. I have done a complete scan with Norton and nothing came up. Thank You in advance

I received an email message from earthlink which included a verification code that I did not request. Earthlink support told me to change my password immediately which I did. Now when I open open Mozilla on me laptop, it requires me to put in the new password. How do I change the password/login that Mozilla uses to access earthlink?

I am currently using Thunderbird version 140.10.2 esr. (32bit) I understand that to latest version is 150. I also understand that, from version 145, Microsoft Exchange accounts are supported natively by Thunderbird.

I am using a generic desktop PC running Windows 10 Pro (22H2)

I am having difficulties with an Exchange account using the OWL add on.

I would like to upgrade my Thunderbird to the latest version and use the native support for Exchange accounts. I would also, if possible, like to upgrade to a 64bit version.

When I follow the instructions (Help/Update Thunderbird) the pop up reports that 'Thunderbird is up to date'.

I can't see a way forward at present, can someone assist please.

I have used Thunderbird as my mail client for many years on both my Windows workstation and my Windows laptop. My ISP is Spectrum. All of a sudden, today, Thunderbird has stopped sending outgoing emails from my workstation. I get a message telling me that Thunderbird can't connect with the server. Outgoing email seems to work fine on the laptop, as well as on Spectrum's own Webmail interface. I think I'm getting all my incoming messages, although it's hard to know that for sure. Both machines are running Windows 11. I haven't changed any configurations. What can I do to get Thunderbird to function correctly on my workstation? Thank you.

I'm having an issue that's not major, but irritating. and getting time-consuming.

'Recently left Windows 11 behind (good riddance!) and have gone back to Linux Mint, which is working out well for me. But there's a strange and persistent glitch" when pasting into T-bird from Autokey, which I use daily,

I get typos, dropped spaces, etc, whenever pasting into T-bird BUT INTO NO OTHER PROGRAMS. My workaround has been to paste first into a text editor (which receives the pasted text perfectly formatted), THEN into T-bird from there.

Again, it's not a major, life-threatening issue, but at the end of the day it's a real time-consumer.

I've posted this question on other forums, but no one can give me an answer. Is there a text setting or something n T-bird that I'm missing? A different form of ASCII, etc? Thanks for any suggestions you can think of.

Btw, I've used and loved T-bird for many years, and love it. Best email client I've ever used, and I've been online since the mid-90's (yeah, I'm an antique! ha ha). I try to send a donation once / year. Keep up the good work!

It has been going on for two days. I tried restarting in troubleshoot mode and it didn't turn on the "Show Password" button. The version of thunderbird I'm using is Mozilla Thunderbird.

I have saved my selected emails in different folders under Local Folder based on the subject of the email. Now I do not see one such folder where I had saved several emails for that particular subject/topic. Need step-by-step to restore that FOLDER from C:\users\myname\AppData\ ???

My issue described may not be Accessibility I chose in Topic above as that was the closest to match. Basically I am missing that Folder as I might have accidentally deleted from the current file that displays when I click open Thunderbird Mail.

Is Thunderbird not compatible with Earthlink email? I can't seem to get my account added. All of the information is directly from my earthlink account set up information but I just get messages saying the configuration is wrong or password etc. I have checked and rechecked, reset the password multiple times so it is definitely the right password yet it fails to connect. if it simply can't be added I get it and will move on but I have no issue setting it up to other accounts so I just want to be sure I am doing it right and that it is in fact compatible. thanks for any help.

Search in Thunderbird has never worked reliably for me. I've deleted and rebuilt GloDa, and am now monitoring indexing progress in the Activity Manager.

After recently enabling indexing for a couple of additional folders, every time I start Thunderbird it seems to index a few emails (maybe 20 or 30 or so) then hangs, and the indexing progress stops.

My total number of messages in my entire Thunderbird profile, across every folder in all of the few email addresses I have, is a couple of thousand emails. We're not talking anything crazy here.

There are gigabytes of RAM available and hundreds of gigaabytes of free storage space on the local volume.

Any ideas?

I just installed a new router and all of a sudden nothing is working properly on my PC. Among other things, I need to fix Thunderbird, and for that I need to find where my thunderbird profile is. The instructions I've seen say to go to troubleshooting information, find profile folder, and click on "open folder." When I do that, nothing happens. (I told you installing the router appears to have broken everything--I don't know how that happened, especially since I was on the phone with tech support for the router for install), and I'm no closer to finding the profile file. I can enter %appdata%\roaming\thunderbird\profiles but that shows me two different profile directories and I don't know which one is the right one. How can I find the correct file and why doesn't troubleshooting information just show me that?

Hello (this might fit better in "performance & connectivity?): Tbird 140.10.1 & .2 esr. W11p laptop v23. As of tonite (15may26), after update from 140.10.1 to .2, in a message, the "buttons" for a web link no longer appear, in the msg body. Instead the link is shown in full. How can I fix that?

Here's an example (others are longer) from our local rag "Press Democrat."

I also closed & re-opened tbird, did NOT reboot laptop. Problem remains.
