In the last couple of days, I have been having troubles editing Google Docs documents. Certain actions cause the cursor to jump around in the document.

For example, if I am sitting in a bulleted list, if I invoke the "increase indent" function through a menu or through the keyboard shortcut (tab key), the increase indent function executes correctly, but then the cursor moves to a new position a few lines earlier in the document.

Other operations cause similar movement of the cursor.

I am not alone in seeing this. I contributed to that thread, and on the advice of Google technical support tried various things. I disabled all my add-ons and refreshed firefox. The problem still occurred. But if I tried Google Chrome, I did not see the problem.

The problem persists across different documents.

I observed the problem in two separate environments: on both my laptop and my desktop computers. In both cases I'm running the latest release version of firefox (117.0.1). My desktop runs windows 11 while my laptop runs windows 10 -- both are up-to-date.

However, my wife can edit the same documents without seeing the problem. So, it's something specific to my environment. We use the same add-ons. The only difference I can think of is that I use a firefox account for syncing bookmarks across devices while she does not.

Hi firefox support. So I have not been able to access a website called "roblox" For ages. When I google the name and click it this comes up the refresh button goes crazy and tries keeps reloading. Please help.

In Google Docs, my text cursor will randomly bounce backwards on the page if I perform certain actions, such as pressing Tab in a bullet point list to create a subitem, setting the text to italic, or sometimes just clicking the cursor to the end of a document. Sometimes reaching the end of the line is enough to make the cursor jump back to a random position on the line.

I have tried this in a new profile with no addons and the problem persisted. I could not confirm this in Chromium last I tried. (But I swear I remember it happening in Chromium once or twice before) I have confirmed it on my PopOS laptop and my main PC booted into both Linux Mint and Windows 10.

I am running Firefox version 116.0.3 (64-bit).

I've been having this issue for several months now. It seems my Firefox on MacOS (Both Monterey and Ventura Intel) can't load any Google sites (google.com, gmail, google meet, etc) after I put the computer to sleep and wake it up again. Only gets fixed after quitting and relaunching firefox.

I've recreated this issue while in "Troubleshooting Mode" with all my addon's disabled, so it is not related to an addon.

This issue might be also happening after some amount of time idle as well, but I've only been able to recreate it by putting the machine to sleep and waking it up the next day.

Is there a way to fix this? or is there a way to get more debug info to help diagnose?

I am running Firefox on Mac OS 13.5.2. Every few videos I watch on Youtube skips a few seconds forward (audio and video). I only started experiencing this problem once updated firefox to 117.0.1 (64-bit).

I have a good 1080p monitor, which I can set up in either orientation. I have a hard time finding monitors which meet my accessibility needs, so a square/squarer monitor or a 2nd monitor would be expensive.

I have tried setting it up in vertical mode, to make it easier to read pdfs and to write. And ideally, to make it easier to avoid sidebars and/or move them away above the main content where they're less likely to trigger as many @##$% migraines.

I've noticed that most websites are designed for the horizontal layout. Elements disappear off the right edge, sometims with a horizontal scrollbar to reach them, sometimes without. Is there a trick to get miost or all websites to fit?

I use about:config fixes, add-ons, and user css to try to increase font sizes, switch colors, block animation, and reduce frame rates to completely block "smooth" animation. I can't do without these, so I don't think I could adapt the mobile version to my needs.

I've noticed *many* other problems in other apps, but if I can get all these websites working in Firefox, I can probably sort out the other problems elsewhere.

The "Digital Advisor" page on vanguards website (after logging in) seems to default to a white background even when in dark mode, resulting in the page being unreadable due to the light gray/off-white text. It seems to only be on the digital advisor page, though. When viewing other accounts or sections, dark mode seems to work correctly.

Any ideas why I am seeing these strange rectangles on Google maps?

Confirmed not caused by an extension as I still see them in Private window and do not see them when using Brave.

They don't stay in the same geographical location when zooming in and out.

Today, randomly, duck duck go no longer works natively with Firefox. If I set DDG as my default search, and try to search using the search bar or use one of the shortcuts like "@ddg" I get an error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I have tried closing, clearing cache, clearing history, and nothing seems to reset it. I can still go through Google, search for duck duck go, and use it that way, but it seems that the native search is now broken.

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. Firefox 117.0.1 (64 bit) Build 20230912013654 Windows 10 Home - Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3448 The link to download my Sears credit card statement in pdf form has disappeared when accessing the website (https://citiretailservices.citibankonline.com) with Firefox. It still appears and works normally when the website is accessed with Chrome. I have the uBlock Origin extension installed on Firefox, but it is disabled on the Sears website. Screencaps attached.

I've been having an issue for a while now where the cloudflare challenges that ask you to click the check mark to "verify your connection is secure" would just endlessly ask me to click the button and never continue. Sometimes it would say to unblock access to challenges.cloudflare.com.

But if I a launch an incognito window I can visit website with the challenge and it won't even ask! I've added all my extensions to run in incognito mode and everything still works, I can visit the websites in incognito just fine. So the one changing variable is incognito vs non-incognito.

I can have two windows open, one incognito and one not, and browse to the same website and the non-incog window will fail but the incog will just go to the site.

I thought incognito was supposed to only affect the session storage? Does it silently change other things to the running environment of the browser (about:config options, slightly different extension configs)?

Anyone know why this small change would suddenly allow cloudflare challenges to work?

I tried clearing caches under Privacy & Security, but the problem persists.

(Meanwhile, I can visit www.dictionary.com on Safari and Google Chrome.)

I'm running 115.2.1esr x64 bit on Windows 7 pro. games on Facebook will not load I get 'Your browser does not support graphics API "WebGL2" error'.

In 'about:config' shows GL2 is enabled, yet Facebook games works with Google Chrome and MS Edge browsers, this seems to point to a Firefox issue.

I removed Firefox entirely, cleaning the registry etc, installed the latest version and get the same result.

Can anyone throw light on this? If need be I'll enclose

the troubleshooting info.

I am using FF on a Windows 11 desktop. When I try to log into familysearch.org using FF, Avast detects that I am being redirected to https://590-buk-726.mktoresp.com. I have used both Avast and FF for years, and this is the first time this has happened. FamilySearch is a very legitimate genealogy site. I contacted Avast and they refreshed FF, and I was able to log in ok, but when I tried it again I got the same warning. I cleared all cookies - same problem. I deleted FF and re-installed - same problem. I am not getting this warning when I use MS Edge. Has anyone seen anything like this? What should I do? Thanks, Mike

I stream video and after 10 minutes, graying out of screen or simply the steaming stopped. Repeatedly same problems. Problem for same streaming not seen using chrome.

I do online payment and screen locks up. I refreshed... no change. I paid in chrome... no issues Now notified that I may have paid twice. WTF?

Why suddenly problems with firefox.

The "font family" property does not change the font of the "option" tag if the font is not installed locally on the computer. I am using Firefox Developer 118 (0b9). Are there any solutions to the problem?
