I have passwords stored in Dashlane. 1. Would i be anymore secure if i followed your prompts and disabled Dashlane in order to use Firefox relay; 2. If i disabled Dahlane to use Relay would i loose all the passwords saved in Dashlane?

do you know any way to set a policy in the policy.json file to remove the "Import bookmarks" and "Getting Started" buttons that appear in the Bookmarks toolbar?

One of my folders is lost. I know the bookmarks are in bookmarks as I can search on one or more. However, I can to know what folder they/it is in. Example: folder FOOD is lost, but I can search on hamburger and it shows up. etc. A one by one search takes a lot of time. I would like for the folder to show up in what other folder it is lost in.

This problem is getting worse all the time. Seems like each upgrade it gets worse. I shut down FF expecting it to restore all the tabs when restarting. But... Gone. Currently Mac OS 13.3.1 (22E261) FF Version: 113.0.1 (64-bit)

Is there a security setting that allows me to show all my passwords rather than having to toggle them on each time?

I am a recluse. There's never anyone looking over my shoulder. I just don't want to have to mess with it anymore.

If there isn't, could some kind developer please make an add-on?

I am using two computers: an iMac (late 2009) running 10.13.6 (High Sierra) and a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2012) running 10.15.7 (Catalina).

If I recall correctly, there was a Firefox update several weeks ago. Since that time, there have been at least three occasions where a URL I manually enter initially takes me to the intended site, but is interrupted immediately by a message, such as "Checking Browser." This quickly disappears and I notice the browser begins accessing other pages in rapid succession, until I closed the window (in the attached screenshot, the browser history is in reverse chronological order). Never experienced anything like that in my 28 years on the web. What might be going on? Thanks.

Firefox uses around 1 to 2GB of RAM and around 25% of the CPU with just around 10 tabs open along with a YouTube video. A chromium based browser on the same system and the same tabs open uses around 400MB of RAM and around 10% of the CPU. Safari with the same tabs is even more efficient

I have tested this with safe mode, on another system with the same hardware but couldn't find what's causing the problem. I have uninstalled all dynamic themes as well.

Firefox does not use this kind of resources on windows or linux but uses something more close to chromium numbers (tested on a desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 3 3200G)

While I do not expect Safari levels of optimization, this problem only arising on Apple Silicon Macs is a problem worth solving. This is the only thing that's keeping me from using firefox as a daily driver and supporting the open web.

You keep saying you fixed this problem and obviously you didn't. Firefox will not let me sign into starbucks.com. Keeps saying sign-in unsuccessful. Site works perfectly with safari.

In the Page Info Window Media Tab when trying to save multiple images the Save As button is covered up by the ? help icon so when clicking on it instead of saving the images it opens up the support page. It only happens when trying to save multiple images, when saving a single image it works fine. Just wondering if it is my computer or not. I'm on a 21 mac pro 14"

I was re-installing my wife's computer and needed access to her passwords - so logged out of my firefox account and into hers on my computer to access them. I then logged back out and when her computer was re-installed, logged into firefox with her account on her computer.

Her account on her computer now contains all of my data, and none of mine. How do I fix this and recover her data?

I've just installed Firefox 113.0 and my tab bar is now above the toolbar and bookmarks bar. Up until 112, the tab bar was below the bookmarks bar. I have no changed anything in UserChrome and in fact that file is still dated 2020. I've searched but haven't found an explanation. Anyone know what changed or is this just a bug? Thanks

Suddenly i keep getting this error code. After trying things like refreshing Firefox, using No Proxy option and still getting this error. I dont know what to do, except for changing the browser.

I installed CLIO integration in my Outlook email and i use Firefox as my browser for my email and other online business activities. The integration worked well for a while and then there was an update and when I installed the update, I noticed the integration did not work anymore and I am unable to save emails like I could before.

I am having trouble deleting Folders in Bookmarks Manager. When I search I get untold # of links, many of which do NOT relate to the topic. I'm sure the answer is somewhere but I can't find it. Can someone point me to the info?

Is there a way to refine the results from a large list? I'm a retired librarian so I have a lot of experience searching.

Hi, I have had an issue for a couple of weeks now, very annoying, when say in excel or intellij, I am pressing the tab button, and for example, it doesnt indent as it should 4 spaces, instead it goes outside of what I am working on, and goes to firefoxview in top left, and if I press tab about 10-12 times, after this specific and exact sequence, it will end up back in excel for example, in the correct place, and then will work properly, but only after it has completed the first 10-12 steps. It is not specific to one laptop, but also applies to desktop, both are apple, one laptop is 9 years old desktop is newish fwiw.

Tried resetting keyboard to default settings on both etc, no change.

Help appreciated.

I have 2 laptops (Macs) and want to Merge the bookmarks on the two. I can only find ways to copy one to the other, but then it overwrites what is on the laptop the bookmarks are being copied too.

When designing in Indesign, I go to Adobe Fonts.com to activate fonts that I want to use. All the font's look the same as default. How do I get the font to display on Firefox browser. Fonts do display correctly when I use Safari.

The paste function on Firefox suddenly doesn't work. I've tried to paste passwords from my password manager into different sites and they don't work. The username is acting funky too. It usually pastes into the site after multiple tries.

Any advice? Please help. Thanks. Phil
