Radio buttons on some websites neither display nor update when the area in which is should have displaed is clicked. FireFox 113.0.2 (64-bit) on Mac OS X 10.13.6 (High Sierra). This problem has been present for some time. On other websites the radio buttons do display and do upate when clicked by toggling the dark center. The minority of websites which don't work seems random, but does include some banking websites and the IRS.gov website. Often using SAFARI will work when FireFox doesn't.

The CheckBox at the end of this page "Email me when someone answers the thread" appears but does not respond to a click.

The built-in screenshot feature in Firefox is great in many ways, but for some reason when selecting "Copy" (Copy screenshot to clipboard) instead of "Download", and then pasted into the Apple Mail app the receiver will get a file attachement named "PasteGraphic-1.TIFF".

It would be a lot more practical to have it saved in the PNG format which makes the file smaller and more compatible. I haven't been able to find any option for this though, but is it perhaps hidden somewhere like in "about:config", or is this something the developers can look into?

I need to change my email address, but my old one is no longer active so I can't receive the confirmation code that will be sent to it, nor can I receive a reply to this question. Firefox version 113.0.1; Operating system Mac OS x 10.13.

There is a little speaker icon on my tab recently, its annoyingly in my way I don't need it. How do I disable the Tab Muter thing, I dont like it, want it gone. Why would anyone need a tab muter when you can simply mute the video you are watching? Its just another thing that makes no sense. I have a MacBook- OS High Sierra. FireFox v113.0.1.. Thanks.

I am happily running Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on my MacBook Pro (mid 2012). This OS allows me to use my many 32 and 64 bit apps and have excellent control of my laptop. My bank is saying that my browser (Firefox 88.0.1) needs to be updated. When I check system requirements at mozilla, any newer Firefox claims to need an intel x86 processor INCLUDING the version of Firefox I am now using. My Mac has an intel Core i7 processor. When I click on about Firefox, I'm offered to update to 109.0.1. Will this update actually work for me without losing any functions I already have? Is there a better choice for my Mac and Firefox?

Hi, Am backing up a laptop that needs to go overnight to a repair shop and want to wipe it clean for privacy. Will the passwords saved by firefox be saved in the backup as well?

I've also downloaded them to a csv file as an additional precaution, but have no idea how to reload them into 'saved passwords' after the repairs are complete, as no option is provided for that - only the option to import from another browser... Thanks for your help!

PS: also, why does mozilla require a manual login to this support forum when my login is saved in it's own password saver?? It is not auto-filling it as expected.

In older versions of Firefox, I could save a webpage as one long page without breaks. Not it won't do that. I have to use Safari. Can Firefox save webpages as pdfs without page breaks? See examples below, one from Safari and then from Firefox.

Dear Sir or Madam, Since the latest update of Firefox 112.01 (64-bit), there are glitches in playing audio and video, slowing down of the computer and frequent crashes. I would be glad if these problems are fixed as soon as possible.

I have read the instructions, but I don't know what is an applicator app, or how to scan the bar code, or how to get a verification code. I'm a senior citizen and nothing makes sense. Never had any trouble setting up 2 step verification on other accounts. help!

I'm using Firefox 112.0 on a mac desktop running OS10.13.6. when I go to a webpage- for example-Bing.com, and I click on one of the story links, that page opens. the page will have a short description of topic, and links to go to other websites for more info. when I select one of those links to open, as usual a new tab opens, but recently, when the new tap opens, instead of displaying the web page from the link, a blank page is displayed (with the URL from the link displayed on top). refreshing the page doesn't help. If I manually copy the url from the new tab, and manually open a new tab and paste in the same url, the page associated with that link opens normally. Why doesn't this happen when I first click on a link to view ? this started over the last few days. I'm running in private mode. (I switched to regular mode but it didn't help)  ?? help please thank you

before around 15 days, I deleted all the contents of the directory /profiles/ in the Firefox folder accidentally. Now, I lost all my saved passwords and bookmarks, that were saved and accumulated for years. I don't remember the exact date of deleting. I read a lot of your archived questions in your website but nothing was unfortunately solving my problem. I have also no "Old Firefox folder" on my desktop. The browser shows me now that the passwords and bookmarks are even not functional because "another program is using them".

What are the possibilities to recover my lost data?

By the way, I am using a Macbook Pro Laptop.

I have a specific way that my windows are set up to browse the web. usually, they get messed up when i update, but i can sort them by opening and closing them in a specific way until they're back in the order i need them to be in. when i installed the latest version of firefox, i tried this trick. however, it appears that the only thing that happened was that the number of available tabs in the window navigation menu decreased. i have 8 widows open right now, but what I see for navigation is three (see attached screenshot).
