I've had this issue ever since switching to a new laptop. This issue is specifically within Firefox (I have tested this in other browsers and programs, and the issue isn't there. Everything else works perfectly fine!)

Essentially, whenever Firefox plays multiple sounds at the same time (for example, I use both youtube and discord in-browser) the second sound will briefly mute the other sound. (Going back to the discord-youtube example, if I am watching a youtube video and recieve a discord notification, the youtube video will pause for about half a second.) Or if a site has background audio but also plays a short audio clip when certain elements are clicked, for example, it will cause this "overlapping" issue. Again, this issue is only within Firefox.

I am using Windows 11 if that helps. I've already tried using a Firefox Refresh and peeking in about:config but I'm totally lost as to what I can try next, since I can't find any other examples of people with this issue online. Sometimes the issue briefly fixes itself but then reappears.

A couple of months ago, I suddenly lost all my saved bookmarks, plus the ones on my toolbar. Strange thing is, all the folders and sub-folders I created are still there, they're just all empty.

Can I get them back somehow? I've been collecting them for years so can't replace them all!

Firefox 125.2 iMac OS x10.15

Starting yesterday firefox, no recent updates etc, gives a 403 error for several large corporate sites and 404 page not found for most paypal payment pages. These sites/pages work fine with Chrome. There were no changes by by myself to my firefox installation, not any antivirus changes.

Within the last hour today everything is working properly. What is going on? jn

I've reported these issues before with no response. I've uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and cookies searched another forums et cetera. Why must I manually update when it's set to auto update? When I set controls to ask where to download items it bypasses that and downloads it as a temp file where I have to cut it out of explorer and paste it where I would like to save it.

I would like to be able to make sure if a pop-up window is blocked, that I'm being notified about it, but there are no options in settings.

I read through the instructions listed on the help pages and found a message from support from 4 years ago about manually editing the settings, which wasn't helpful.

Are they just on by default now? Or did they get turned off and if so, how do I turn them back on?

(p.s. having something teach you how to do something, this case getting trouble shooting data manually, should open another window, not navigate me away from the page I'm sending this message from)

I simply want to use a password to open Firefox. I don't want to set up Firefox sync. How can I set up a simple password as permission to open Firefox without accessing sync?

Firefox on my pc loads Ebay.com with Chinese characters, not English.

This ONLY happens on PC (mobile phone is fine, same firefox browser) only with firefox (Duck Duck Go on my pc works fine) and ONLY when opening Ebay.

Problem started 4/29. I have done: computer update/restart, firefox update/restart, clear cache in firefox

Every time I open Firefox another blank window opens behind the main Firefox pages . I see it when I close Firefox so have to close that too. There is no URL in the window just a blank page.

I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

I have played "Hero Wars,Dominion Era " for years on Fire Fox...They did an "update" last week(Thursday or friday 04/25-26?24)and I haven't been able to log onto the game itself since...I can still open the Hero wars home page,I can get into my "discord" chat etc etc etc,but I cannot get into my individual game.(If it helps,my Hero wars game ID # is 10920140)...I had to start playing the game itself on Google Chrome...I am hopeing you can help find a solution as everything I do is from Fire Fox & I really don't like chrome :(...PLEASE Help me resolve this if possible! ( Nexus suggested I use "Incognito" on FireFox ( I remeber that from a few yrs back,but honestly,i haven't used or seen "incognito" since :()

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

Hello, I'm looking for a way to add a shortcut, similar to:

CTRL + Click = open link in new tab SHIFT + Click = open link in new window

What I want it to do is open a link in a Private mode window, to avoid having to open the right-click menu.

I came across this person asking for something similar (they specifically want the private window to not appear on top, I do not care if it gets automatically focused or not) https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1317416

The only answer links to a list of "command line options" and points to the private ones. I understand how you can use these to change how the Firefox shortcut behaves, or to open Firefox in a specific way from the "Run" command, but I do not know how, or if it is even possible to apply these settings to a specific shortcut-click combination.

I want to enable cookies for outlook and google, the rest I dont want.

I have attempted to look at the cookie's url for outlook and add that to the exception list, but outlook still harasses me with its annoying 2fa

How do I find the actual address to put in the exceptions list to stop this issue?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

I am autofilling an ELSA payment portal. Firefox autofills the payment information correctly. But the program will not recognize the autofilled information and doesn't let me process the payment. I then overwrite all my information and then it allows me to proceed with the payment. I have used the same procedure for years but as of this last week, the autofilled information is not recognized as I click the "Continue" button after the autofilled info is complete, and it won't work. The ELSA source (State of Wisconsin) person said it's a browser problem on my end. No. The online form autofills just fine. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jeff

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.
