My firefox browser is completely unable to load any tabs. The search bar works but screen remains blank after pressing enter, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. Thank you any help

The latest version of Firefox was just installed and I am now having constant crashing problems the performance is significantly worse than the previous session. How do I go back to the previous version. Note to Firefox please do not use us a your Beta testers.

Suddenly (today) games at the NY times website do not fully load. The games affected for me are spelling bee, the mini-crossword and the crossword. Wordle still works. I saw some articles about Wordle from a few months ago, and tried clearing cookies from the games website but I still have the problem.

So I have this issue with my Firefox install on my PC. For one reason or another Google services (Gmail, search, etc) do not seem to always work. They have moments where they will search or load emails, but most of the time they spin, give an error in gmail, or just won't try searching at all (hit search and just dead and blank screen).

[Oops... the system encountered a problem (#001) - Retrying..] - one of the errors commonly seen in gmail.

All I run is Ublock Origin, Keepa (amazon price tracking) and LastPass.

I've tried a total uninstall using Reva Uninstaller so it deletes remaining files. Chrome does work just fine, so it doesn't seem to be any sort of firewall or anything blocking it. I've tried going into about:serviceworkers as I saw there was an old bug having to clear out google services in there. It does maybe help at first, but they come back and it doesn't always fix it anyway.

Is there anything else I'm missing?

Hello there to all.. I have been experiencing occasional crashes on the tab when left idle for a while!! I am using Ubuntu linux 22.04 when this occurs..! In Windows 11 or even Windows 10 x64 pro this does not occur to my knowledge at all.. So I am wondering why this is happening only on ubuntu linux 22.04 and not anywhere else??.. I've been using Firefox 78ESR for Mac for quite some time, but finally decided to upgrade to stable release Firefox 99. What I discovered is that when I'm on a webpage and right-click and click on "select all" to copy all of the text, the text does not get copied. I have found this on websites and especially in blogger. I'm wondering if there's some setting I'm not aware of, or if Mozilla just completely did away with that ability.

Various online booking sites will format blocks of key information as large images and Firefox* never prints such pages correctly. The problem seems to occur when an image is split between one page and the next. I've attached two small images of the top of the page as displayed in Firefox and the print preview for that page. The page has two buttons ("Map It" and "add to Apple Wallet") that are forced off of page one but do not appear on page two. Page two prints as shown -- blank with only header and footer lines -- and the information that should be on page two (including any text) is omitted. I've had the same issue for several years. This includes several Firefox versions, several printer manufacturers (Cannon, Epsom, and HP), and a number of OS updates. I am absurdly loyal to Firefox (dunno why) but I keep having to switch to Edge whenever I need to print a complex web page. I keep hoping that the problem will be fixed.

I am unable to load google or any google searches. I have reinstalled firefox and the problem persists.

When I immediately open firefox everything works as expected, but not long after browsing the fault arises.

After few search, the adress bar just don't work anymore : nothing happen.. (with google) Need to close et start again Firefox to use search... until the same problem again

Afte a while , when i open a new tab and enter a "word/phrase" the tab wont do anything - not search, not open wesites, or google it automaticaly on enter. I have to close and open the browser to be able to use it again. I have allready fresh install, i have change the appblocker, logout and more setings but I have no solution yet. Maybe there is an log to look up to see where the problem persists. Thank you!

If Firefox is open and running, then the firefox icon is an orange fox. I Firefox is closed and not running, then firefox icon is a square white paper (generic icon). This problem did not exist in all previous editions of firefox, only in firefox 100. Help.

I am currently using facebook on firefox on my apple computer (mac os catalina 10.15.7) . It says firefox is up to date. For some reason facebook doesn't open and only a white page shows. I restarted firefox in safe mode and it still does not work. I cleared all history and cleared cookies. I restarted my computer. I am not a computer genius but is there anything else I can do to clear this issue?

just updated to version 100, and now my work is stalled because I can't play online training videos (that it's my job to create, so need to publish and preview them online). The audio plays, but the video does not. Interestingly, when I navigate away from the tab, the visual still refreshes to the progress point in the video, but still does not PLAY the video.

Is there a way to downgrade to the previous Firefox version?

Hello, yesterday my Firefox started exhibiting very weird problems. Websites often fail to load and I get a We're having trouble finding that site, which I pass by refreshing the page, sometimes it takes one refresh, sometimes even 5-6. The tabs also crash randomly (this started happening today). Other web browsers do not exhibit that problem. I tried: - clearing cookies and site data - refreshing Firefox - re-enabling Firefox in the Firewall - completely reinstalling Firefox - restarting my router - the problem also happens in Troubleshoot mode

Ive sunk a lot of hours into trying to fix this problem, but it always comes back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This happens with all browsers. I need a software but it needs to find firefox.exe I have tried changing the name of the firefox exe but then the software wont work. It flashes white and it shuts down.

Firefox has seemed unstable for a few months now, but in the past weeks even more so. It crashes often, and has usually crashed when I come back to my desktop after a few hours or the weekend. Today it has crashed on me at least 10 times. It does not seem to relate to a particular website or activity. It is becoming so difficult to work with that I am going to have to go to Chrome or something else if it's not fixed. Firefox pretty regularly does updates (often after it has crashed), so it is not that I've got an old version or something.

Firefox 100.x - new download - while loading says it's already open when it's not. Meaning that I force quit the app out of the running apps, and cleared all background processes named firefox ... or mozilla ....

I deleted the app and reinstalled but no better.

The app just don't load up.

Stick with Brave? What do you advise?
