One quality of life thing I really miss after switching from Chrome is the option to "Goto ip" when you highlight and right click on a local ip address.

I do a lot or networking and am going to local ip addresses all the time (ie 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.20.15). When I highlight an address in the local ranges in Chrome it gives the "Goto" option, but Firefox always offers "Search Google for"

I really miss this option and unfortunately all my searching has not yield a solution since search engines cant quite make sense of my requests.

Hopefully someone here can nail something down.

Sorry for dumb queston, just Iam not a web-dev) My problem is next: I need change default code page (charset) for every document. Its only one charset for all pages, so it can be hardcoded. Due no one another charset web-server do not use.

 Can you pls say how it can be realized? Should it be done by changing some settings files, or maybe need some code changes ( for example at intl/locale etc) ?

I have tried with different commands lie ctrl+w,Ctrl+alt+F4 , like this everything is used to closed current tab or entire browser .I tried the other way right click on tab> close all tabs But i need a shortcuts to close all tabs except the current tab which were using. I have a web application which runs perfectly on firefox versions below 103. Meanwhile, I had to change my laptop and I installed latest firefox version on my new laptop. I have a login page in my web application which isn't working in the latest firefox version. But, the application works perfectly even now in the older versions below 103. What might be the reason?

How can I disable the annoying function of automatic download of attachments every time I access one even though I used to be able to just open them or decide to download. Tired of deleting every blasted file into recycle when I don't want this. It doesn't matter if I select "ask where to download" box is checked.

I'm trying to stream the series "When Calls the Heart" from the Hallmark Streaming channel. When I click Play, a wait circle starts spinning, but the video won't load. I can watch other videos from their channel, just not this series. Any suggestions?

There is No PC Firefox search microphone icon in address bar and No PC Firefox search microphone icon in google search. I can tap Settings. Scroll to the Privacy and Security section and tap on Site permissions. Next, tap on Microphone. However, there is no search microphone icon on Firefox address bar or in google search to click on. For several weeks now I've been experiencing issues with accessing google sites. YouTube videos will constantly display the "Connect to the internet. You're offline. Check your connection." error page. Additionally gmail and google drive will constantly give the "OOPs" error message. Sometime the page will load w constant refreshes but this is not ideal.

I've done the following:

Clear history/cookies Opening in troubleshoot mode Disable hardware acceleration Refresh/Reinstall

Still getting the same results. Not having any issues with edge/chrome. Does anyone have anything else that could be done?

Hi, the squarepage extension was recently disabled due to security concerns. The settings indicate that it can still be used in private mode. I followed the linked instructions, but there is still no enable slider.

How can I enable this ?

Trying to print license from State of Georgia website as required on "renewal" page and Firefox is not allowing. Not sure how to enable this process. Please help.

I tried to set cookie preferences for different websites. For reasons that I do not understand, I cannot move the "slider". I even turned of the existing protection for the websites, but nothing changed. I tried the same with Safari using the same computer and mouse, and I had no problems.

Is this a known bug?

I've tried googling around and haven't found any solutions although I've seen this question asked multiple times.

When I start typing words into my Firefox address bar I usually see some suggestions. I'd like to delete *specific* suggestions from there. When I'm sharing my screen I don't need my business contacts seeing certain embarrassing search terms. How do I do this?

To be clear, I don't want to turn off *all* suggestions. I don't want to delete my history. I don't want any of that. I just want to delete specific ones. In Chrome when this happens I simply hover over the specific suggestion and click X. It baffles me why Firefox didn't make it that simple as well.

I am not too good with the computer and have just starting using Firefox. I will do my best to describe my question so please bar with me. I have 2 rows of websites that I frequent...actually only using the first row and 5 spaces in the second row. When I go to a different website Firefox is automatically adding that website to one of the boxes in the second row which I do not want. How do I stop this? Question 2...using Ebay as an example...if I keep searching on Ebay and have looked at lets say 5 different pages how do I go back to the home screen without having to hit the back button 6 times? I tried everything in the message I received but there was no (obvious) way to reply. I will attach a screenshot of what is occurring. Search Baron is hijacking my web searches. If I specifically click on use google in the search bar then it works. If I just type a search phrase, search baron takes over (see the URL in the attached screenshot, that is what appears no matter what I search). I can open a web page fine.

Hello - there are add-ons for Amazon, Google, Facebook, EBay and Twitter - none of which I added - showing up on the Firefox browser as running during browser start. I can see them when I use CC Cleaner. They are browser plugins set to run upon start up. I can disable them but need to do it every time, as there is no way to delete them that I can see. I would like to find out why these plugins are there and how I can delete them.

i'd like to copy my Firefox profile from PC1 to a new PC2;

Last time i tried this, i ended up with PC2 having the same "name" as PC1 in "Sync". This caused weird sync issues, as the system thought my PC2 was PC1 as vice versa.

So, is it possible to copy my entire profile with all addons/settings, BUT, make "Sync" recognize it as a NEW pc ?

I have never seen something like this before and I would like to know what it means and if I should exclude this, etc. So that's why I send you a mail to check it. Like to hear from you and many thanks in advance. Greetz Karin
