Hi,

Weird issue I discovered today is that for whatever reason the LastPass addon in Mozilla Firefox keeps disappearing upon reopening the app and among different computers. So I had it all setup on my MacBook Pro previously working fine but now I found logging into my iMac for LastPass to be missing altogether from my Extensions. I re-installed it. Having had to sign in all over again etc and now when I go to another computer (again logged in with my Firefox account) then the Extension is not there!!!! So damn annoying. What's going on here? Thanks!

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

Kindly help as soon as possible

I have entered in exceptions for a web page that Firefox continues to block....I have gone through your steps 4 times now...one time out of 4 you actually let the web page through....since then you don't again...what is wrong with your system? as I am not receiving a download link from the intended exception due to the fact you are not honoring it....

Hi. I've downloaded dictionaries and languages, the check spelling option is enabled in the browser settings. However, browser doesn't want to do it automatically. I have to manually enable it with RMB context menu (and re-select languages) for each website individually. Moreover, when the page refreshes, spell checking turning itself off again in RMB menu (but stays enabled in browser options).

  Is this really how it's supposed to work?

Saving a bookmark to a specific folder has never worked in Firefox. Never!

Add bookmark > Location > Choose > search the specific folder > the scrollbar does not move down!

You can search (browse) the specific folder with the scroll wheel of the mouse, with the arrow key of the keyboard, you can slide the scrollbar up and down with the *very small* arrows on the scrollbar, but you cannot slide the scrollbar with the most essential and easiest way by moving it up and down with the mouse. By that I mean: clicking the scrollbar with the left mouse button and move it down and up.

THIS HAS NEVER WORKED IN FIREFOX. It works just randomly. Sometimes very rarely it works, usually it doesn't work. Why is that?

I had bookmarks and backgrounds and everything saved on my browser. My mac book died and now when i open it everything reset. I didn't have any profiles or sync on but why did everything reset. And am i able to get what I had back.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox (and add Sites shortcuts) 2. Do not navigate to any website 3. Observe network activity using Process Monitor or clash verge

Expected Behavior: - Opening about:home should not establish TCP connections to remote sites unless the user interacts with them.

Actual Behavior: - TCP connections are observed immediately to sites listed in Top Sites shortcuts, even without user interaction.

Notes: - Disabling DNS prefetch, speculative preconnect, and predictor settings does not prevent these connections. - Extensions have been ruled out, I can distinguish darkreader.org(extention) mozilla.org(update) and reddit.com(your sponsor url) from *.edu.*(my shortcuts), DON'T mention that. - Connections occur before any page navigation or clicks. - I suspect that Firefox may attempt to load site icons (favicon / tile thumbnails), but this is unconfirmed.

I am using Firefox 146.0 (64 bit), canonical-002 - 1.0 on Kubuntu 24.04.

The browser will not store credit card information. If I enter correct information into a Web site, Firefox correctly queries whether I want to save this information. Clicking "Save" closes the dialog but when I look at "Manage payment methods" in Settings nothing is saved. Attempts to enter the information at this point fail as well. Note that the check box "Save and autofill payment info" is set.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? So, after using firefox in the background to browse websites or watch videos I checked my memory usage in firefox with about:memory -> Measure and saw that youtube was consuming a decent amount >2GB (checked the main url when clicking the youtube src, it was the video on that sole tab i was watching and nothing else playing youtube in the bg) so i closed that tab, waited a bit and re-measured but then see that the memory usage for youtube rose about 200MB... and the website for youtube is that same url for the tab that i just closed (when checking the src in the results for Measure). I've been revisiting the about:memory page, reloaded it and re-Measured and youtube is STILL THERE. Even now, 10 minutes later i still see youtube there, with none of my tabs running youtube.

If i close firefox entirely and re-open my tabs then it'll very likely fix it but this has to be a major issue no? I shouldn't have to close the entire browser program just to fix a website visit, which is youtube of all websites.

As of this moment, firefox, with 8 tabs open, is consuming 4,452.99MB (~4.5GB) where 2.5GB is youtube for that page i closed.

I don't know if sharing memory reports from the about:memory page give my cookies away or leave me open to a similar vulnerability so I won't share it unless a dev or similar asks for it but for now, I've included an image showing all the tabs i have open on firefox, 2 windows.

How can I remove the moving blue ball from the tab of a frequently used website? It's distracting and hopefully not symptomatic of a problem It appeared on this new computer/monitor, used to be an icon Thanks, --Laurie

REPEATING IMAGES involving . Macbook Air M4 Tahoe 26.2

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.
