When opening a private window after the 127.0 update, now opens opens a new window on the far right. It is no longer connected to the FireFox browser. In about:config I have it set to False for browser.PrivateWindowSeperation.enabled. That worked in the past but doesn't seem to be working anymore.

SLES 15.5 QU2 in Mozilla Firefox 115.8.0esr was not supporting window.close() even i added user_pref("dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows", true); in user.js and prefs.js

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Win11 Version 126.0.1 (64-bit)

When I open Firefox these days, the window is so big that the toolbar is barely visible. I have to put the cursor in just the right little spot to pull the window down and resize it. It is NOT full screen or maximized, it just opens a huge window that's too far up on the screen. I just want to resize the default window that it opens with.

Hello, it seems that cycling through tabs in most recently used order is not working for me. I am running version 126.0.1 on Windows and I have the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" option enabled on my settings page. I have only noticed this issue in the past week or so, and so I am wondering if this feature is broken in the most recent release and if there is anything I can do to get the feature to work again until the bug is fixed in a future version.

I have added many add-ons, some of them are visible in the screenshot. But i can't pin them to the toolbar. And therefore not able to use them. For some reason only three of them are visible when i click the plugin button in the toolbar and only one of them namely 'ublock origin' is pinned by default. I have tried many things but still not able to pin any plugin

I tried redownloading Firefox after I saw that i was unable to download any extenstions/add-ons. Anytime i try to download something from the firefox browser, the download fails or gets cancelled. I never changed any settings, how can i fix this?bold text

Hi, I would like to use my computer's built in print dialog instead of the one that pops up in FireFox. I know there is a button at the bottom of the dialog that allows me to choose my system print dialog, but when it comes up there is no way to view the number of pages like when I print from other apps.

I tried to use some online instructions using about:config, but it doesn't change anything. I would like to know how to turn off the FireFox dialog permanently. It only started happening in the last few FireFox updates.

I am running a 2010 Mac Pro in Mojavé and am using FireFox Version 115.11.0esr (64-bit). Please help. I need to see how many pages I'm about to print so I can decide which ones I want to actually print.

Hello, I want to add a secondary email to my Mozilla account. I have looked at the help page but can't get the first step of the instructions to work. See image 1 below.

This is the only "Burger" I can see, and I am Signed In to Support. See image 2 below.

This Menu does not have an option for "Manage Account"

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! Hi, in my settings Firefox is set to "remember history", but there are no options for how long and when i look into my history, it doesn't go back further than a year. I found a few answers to this on some forums talking about the places.history.expiration.max_pages setting and others about the places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages setting but those don't exist in my Firefox and the threads are more than a decade old. I currently have version 126.0.1 64bit on Linux. How can i keep my history forever?

I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

Is there some way to enable and disable specific config settings , on a per-site basis?

For example, let's say I want to disable right-click hijacking (dom.event.contextmenu.enabled) on turtlesaregreat.com, but use the default settings everywhere else.

The Page Info > Permissions panel has some, but not all the ones I want. Is this somehow built into Firefox, or maybe there's an extension?

Drop-down suggestions a clever function, but entirely unwelcome in my universe. How to prohibit those?

The problem in DuckDuckGo search is that one cannot readily edit the original search word/phrase, as the suggestions take over that area; can't do a quick LnUp or LnDn, can't do a quick LeftArrow or RightArrow if a correction is needed -- the suggestions just decide to bully their way in at every inopportune opportunity.

I've changed whatever settings in Duckville that I can find, but it doesn't care what I need or think. I've changed the Firefox Search settings but that doesn't make any difference.

Any information/assistance out there?

here is the video: https://streamable.com/zffknq the issue is about transparent bar with vertical addons and slowly fullscreen animation, and the fullscreen animation isn't config-able, I already set full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 in about:config, and disable sidebar or userChrome is not work too. and this is happend about one mouth ago after my nixos update firefox.

This is a silly one, probably.

My refresh button has mysteriously disappeared from my browser toolbar. I can just use cmd+shift+r to refresh, but muscle memory keeps looking for the button on screen too, and it would be nice to have it back!

I opened up the customize options, thinking maybe I just removed it by accident, but refresh doesn't appear to be an option?

I also opened it up in troubleshoot mode to see if that would change anything. It did not :(

I also don't have any extensions that mess with the toolbar, so I don't think that would be an issue (and troubleshoot mode should have disabled extensions anyway I think.)

I recently updated to 126.0.1 - no idea if that has anything to do with it, but this did happen right after the update.

There are a couple more people on here with the same question, and they all had easy solutions. I'm hoping I'm just not seeing a setting somewhere.

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.
