We have Firefox deployed and managed through Intune/Endpoint and all works well but every device has an error with this line of the policy:
UserMessaging_FirefoxLabs [./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Firefox~Policy~firefox~UserMessaging/UserMessaging_FirefoxLabs] STATE Error SOURCE PROFILES Source Profile Mozilla_Firefox_Configuration ERROR CODE 0x87d1fde8
The error code is the same on all devices and is the only one present in on each device config.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue and resolution would be?
Thanks, Matt

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with HEVC hardware decoding in Firefox on Windows 10.
System information:
OS: Windows 10 (latest updates installed) Browser: Firefox ESR 128.8 GPU: (your GPU model) GPU driver version: (your driver version) Problem: In about:support under the "Media" section, I see that HEVC (H.265) hardware decoding is not supported, while on Windows 11 with the same hardware, it works correctly.
What I have tried:
Installed HEVC Video Extensions from the official Microsoft website. Enabled hardware decoding in about:config: media.hardware-video-decoding.enabled → true media.wmf.hevc.enabled → true Updated GPU drivers to the latest version. Checked HEVC support via FFmpeg – decoders are available. Expected result: Firefox should use HEVC hardware decoding on Windows 10, just like it does on Windows 11.
Actual result: HEVC is only supported in software mode, and hardware decoding is not working.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Thank you!

In the "comments" section of a Yahoo article, a notification will appear that someone has replied to a comment I submitted previously. By clicking on that notification you are supposed to be returned to that article and directly to my comment and the subsequent replies to it. Firefox is returning me to the articles' comment section but not to my specific comment and any added replies.
Microsoft Edge DOES send me back to my specific comment. I cannot find anything in the settings for Firefox that would control this.

The small green dot in the upper right that notifies me of a pending update is gone, since several months. When I navigate to About Firefox, or in the settings, I can see that a new version is available and it lets me install the update. But I miss being able to see the notification.
Did I disable some setting by mistake? Auto-updates should be turned on as far as I know.
