When I restarted my PC and opened Firefox only 1 tab Open previous windows and tabs. All the other 6 disappeared. I opened 3 additional tabs, closed Firefox, and reopened Firefox and only the one same tab was there from the previous session. Why does the feature not work properly?

I am trying to switch from Google to Firefox, but I still use my Google email. I uploaded my contacts from Google to Firefox, but I am trying to edit my own contact info in Gmail contacts, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. Do I need to edit it in Firefox, and will that edit migrate back to Gmail? Why can't I edit it in my Gmail contacts (in the Gmail right-hand toolbar), and it will update my Firefox contacts automatically?

If you are going to require "A" file type, fucking say what type it has to be and provide a converter or screenshot tool! I Tried .Docx and PDF. Word does not save to PNG or JPEG so they are not an option.

AT THIS POINT, I AM STRONGLY RECONSIDERING SWITCHING FIREFOX!!!!!!

I just updated to the latest version of Windows 10, and now when using Firefox (126.0), the url dropdown menu rather than dropping down now "floats" over the browser window with the top cut off. The top url is still there, and I can navigate to it using the arrow keys, but it doesn't show. This is new as of this morning, when Windows updated. No issue in other browsers.

today, i guess, it crashed completely . it started by firing of a warning that not enough space is provided which was not true, then it downloaded 10 messages at once... after a while, the message pane was lost. you click on an email and nothing. it selects it but nothing shows up. blank screen. double click, also opens a new blank tab. fearing a totally corrupt database or even a re-install i pressed repair on the folder. took ages. now, though, i have the profile folder in my PC intact, but TB refuses to load it. i only see the 20 emails i got lately. like starting a new profile all over again...

I have the most recent updated Thunderbird, I wish to delete a email account, however under settings Account Actions is absent. I have tried searching for and answer but no way to remove it so far. I have used Thunderbird for near 10 years and usually there is the Account Actions menu item. I see all settings its should be right under the item Return Receipts. But nothing is there.

As of Wednesday afternoon my internal/system mic and speakers are no longer working with FireFox. Geek Squad says it's a problem with FireFox. I'm running Win11 on a Dell laptop that's about a year old. Firefox is up to date, and Windows should be as well.

Since yesterday, Thunderbird will not connect to my TalkTalk IMAP mail server unless I switch on a VPN. This is inconvenient. I have no problems accessing my emails through TalkTalk's online mail service, which doesn't happen when the server is down.

It's pretty self explanatory. I have three different email address configured within Thunderbird and it does not recognize any of them as "Me". Within each account, they are displayed like anyone else's email.

Been using TB for over a decade and cannot for the life of me figure this out.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm going to ask this question again. Has anyone seen this? If so, what does it mean? When attaching a pdf or other file to an email, I can't open it to check it before sending.

C:\Users\***\Desktop\*****.pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.

What is a helper application and how do I fix this?

how do I change the "from" and "subject" font appearance in thunderbird inbox list view? They are currently a little bizzare with the sender appearing smaller than the subject line etc. I am not familliar with .css file settings and so will need to be considered a simpleton with any explanations. Any aswers I have seen refer to fire fox and assume that I know how to create the changes required or add a .css file somewhere. Thanks in advance. I attach a screen shot of my current inbox view . Hi. My hard drive crashed. I have a new pc and the old drive is readable in a drive enclosure hooked up to new PC via usb. I have done the typical search for the appdata profile file, but I am not sure what I have here. I have attached a screenshot of the old drive and a global search on "Thunderbird". I am not sure where the profile file is residing. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Hi After the latest update, the address bar dissapears everytime I click on it to type in an address. It gets hidden behind previous addresses I visited. Completely unusable. I have no idea why it is so bad and how to fix, please help. Thanks

I often have many tabs open (25+) I have made it so tab shrink way more then normal (I like the way chrome handles tabs where they basically just shrink infinitely. Firefox doesn't do it's even with my twerks but ohwell.)

so when i want to click on a tab with audio playing at a small size i often mute the tab instead of clicking on the tab

Where and how can i remove the mute button that appears when hovering over tabs with audio playing?

I have never found that mute button useful so removing it will not impact me

Hi I decided to donate so I could get rid of the automatic start of my browser showing the request for donation screen whenever I open Thunderbird. Even though I received the confirmation that I successfully donated, I still get the annoying request for donation. How do I stop the auto load of the browser?

I've been noticing apparent duplicate messages within my unified folders inbox on my desktop recently.

Looking further I notice that one of my accounts has 'INBOX' as one of its subfolders which is where the problem appears to stem from. When I look at that account in isolation (ie not in unified folders) I can still see the inbox as a subfolder.

The subfolder 'INBOX' appears to be a duplicate of the account's main inbox (it contains the same number of emails), which may account for the appearance of duplicates.

At a guess this is probably related to inadvertent moving of folders. I find that when trying to use the scroll bar (to scroll down the subfolder list), if the mouse strays slightly to the left it will pick up a subfolder and move it unintentionally. This can cause all sorts of problems with disappearing emails and the folder structures showing differently on different computers.

In this case the duplicate email problem only happens on my desktop. On my laptop I can still see a subfolder named 'INBOX' but it shows as empty and I don't see the duplicate emails in unified folders.

It would be really useful if Mozilla could introduce a 'confirm folder move' feature as that would eradicate inadvertent moves.

How do I resolve the apparent duplicate emails on my desktop? I am somewhat reticent to delete the subfolder 'INBOX' for fear of the potential consequences. . .
