Greetings support team. The problem is a bit complicated and I could't find anything similar to it on the net, so I'll try to explain in details what happened. One day after opening the browser I noticed that it didn't launch(there was no window). After opening it again I saw that all of my previously opened tabs were gone. After that I closed Firefox and went to check the task manager. I found that Firefox was still running after closing it. I couldn't wrap my head around it and killed the programm. Then I opened it again and got the same results: first launch: no Firefox window(nothing on the taskbar either), secound launch: one empty tab. After that I opened a new tab in Firefox through task manager and my screen "swiped right", I got access to Firefox window with all of my previous tabs, but all the other programms I had opened on the taskbar were gone. Somehow Firefox opens outside my screen on a "separate one" every first time I launch the app, and the only way to switch between "screens" is to open a new tab through task manager or launch a program that was previously active to switch back to previous "screen". It is also impossible to switch between opened windows on different "screens" using gestures on the touchpad or "Alt" + "Tab". I use a laptop and never even tried to attach/connect a second monitor. I don't have another monitor attached via bluetooth or any other means in device manager. I have the latest verion of windows 10 installed and updated. I have another PC, where I use the same Firefox with the same addons on the same Mozilla account, which has no such issues. I have tried renaming the file called "xulstore.json" to "xulstore.old" or deleting it entirely, this didn't resolve the issue.

How to sort and view history by date in firefox? if we go to the history tab it automatically sorts by creating sections of , "today","yesterday" and then directly for "last 7 days" that too doesnt have the exact date. how can i exactly view the data of a particular date past yesterday?

Hello. I am not familiar with this end to end encryption that Facebook now does for Messenger but now when I try to use Video Calling/Chat it tells me it is not supported by my browser, Firefox. I have never had any problems with it before. Is there a fix? Thanks

bookmarks toolbar under address bar broken setting set correctly for it to be there and there is a blank space for it to be there but none of my bookmarks that are in that folder show up changing the settings make the blank bar disappear and come back see screenshot.

Firefox home page is missing even though it is set to display just get blank screen on both new tabs and at start up of browser even though it is set to show Firefox start screen.

now every time i start Firefox it demands my master password for my passwords? just hitting cancel makes it go away though.

right click copy only works like 1/4 the time allot of the time the even though the text is highlighted copy is greyed out but using control+c usually works. that one has been happening a wile though.

Even though I have browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set on "false", private windows appear separate regardless and it is bothering me. I restarted my browser, logged out and then back in, toggled the setting on and off again, but the damn thing stays in this uncomfortable spot that would be awkward to explain as opposed to simply having it blend in with the other windows innocuously. How do I fix this?

The icon for private browsing has recently re-appeared on my taskbar despite having browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set to false in about:config.

I've had this setting configured ever since the update which completely changed the appearance/behavior or private browsing and it has worked correctly up until today (14/06/24).

Is there a new setting that I have to adjust in order to "merge" the windows together as I'm not a fan of having the private browsing icon on my taskbar.

My Firefox is the most recent version 126. I am having trouble with pop-ups being blocked. I have added the website to the pop-up exception list. When I go to the site, it shows me the little icon showing I have added exceptions for this site. However; the pop-up still gets blocked.

The site is: https://www.foxit.com/ I try clicking the Log In drop down then Foxit Account. Before this would pop-up the log in screen for the site but since version 125, it does not. I just updated to version 126 to see if that resolved it before creating this post but it didn't. Thus I am here trying to get help.

I have been running Thunderbird Beta for a while and recently when I go in I get an error that it cannot compress folder because not enough disk space. I have > 90gb available. How do I resolve this?

Something happened with your new update, and now my computer is not working. i cannot get my emails to come even though i choose the email button. The wheel just keeps turning and turning, and will not ever get to the emails. The same thing happens when i try other favorites buttons on the top of the page. i do not know the correct words to describe what i am trying to say because i am not tech savvy at all. i am a senior citizen who needs my computer to work again. What has happened? i do not understand any of the directions given to me when you have answered me today. i do not understand the details! i am very frustrated right now, and have spent a lot of my day trying to get my computer working the way it did yesterday. Yesterday I was hit with what I understand is a mail or spam bomb in my work email. From 5am to 10am i received 1,400 emails from all random sites. Today i already received 200 emails. This is very stressful searching through these to find actual legit emails from my customers. Speaking to one of my employees this happened to they said they had to close their account and open a new one because the emails never stopped coming. I have had this email for 17 years and it's associated with many business accounts and website contacts so it's not feasible for me to change emails. Is there a way to filter these directly to the junk or spam folder so they don't hit my inbox? Or something else you can recommend to block these? please help

Hello. I have an issue with Firefox. Last week Facebook stopped showing images when run on Firefox. These are in the Feed and photos, etc. I tried refreshing, clearing cookies, history and cache. I changed enhanced tracking but nothing stops this. Are there any suggestions to repair this or could it be a bug? I work on Windows 10. Please help.

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

I have been a Firefox and Thunderbird Beta user for decades and all is well until I installed the latest Thunderbird 127 (Beta) It's suppose to be a Final release. Now I get a large ad/notice, informing me to use this version at my own risk and to download the older, stable release.

See attached image. The add takes up a large amount of space on the email client and is very annoying.

How do I get rid of it, never to see it, again?

I was scrolling trying to make cards for Father's Day and there was a pornographic image where there should have been a fairytale castle coloring page. How do I make sure this does not happen again?

I do not have an account that I wish to migrate within Thunderbird but I just need to use it to view some .msg files. Each time I try to open a .msg file to view it, I am asked to log in to Thunderbird. Is there any way of just viewing the messages without requiring an associated email account? The messages relate to an investigation I am conducting and I do not own the recipient's account.
