Firefox just used almost a GB by just opening it! I only typed a Google search, and the next moment my phone tells my I'm out of data!

Note that this is foreground data, not background data. I googled and found answers about media playing in the background, but I haven't watched anything recently, so no streaming link should be active. I installed Ublock origin so I hope that might help.

Attach is my Firefox data usage for the past week of barely using it, except for an occasional Google search.

My samsung galaxy S5 neo android smartphone 16gb. Is not compatible a enough for me to browse on some of the website links, also is not compatible a enough to download some of the apps on google play store. I found that X (Twitter) videos don't autoplay although the corresponding setting is enabled in Firefox for Android.

Is there anything I am missing?

I have added (as a start) some web shortcuts to my Firefox Focus home screen. However, they are cut off, so I can only see the top part of the label. I can work out what they are but what happens when I add more shortcuts? How can I see the whole shortcut and label, please? I'm using Android version 14.

I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

I'm so annoyed by these notifications for utterly random websites / "news" that started after a recent update (see attached screenshot). I don't want these, bit also don't want to turn off notifications altogether. Thank you!

So I got a new phone and I'm trying to sync it with the old Android but it's like it literally has nothing but the login name. I still have to go login all these websites and it won't boot all my tabs from the old phone I don't even want to try to buy anything find out that I have to do all the credit card stuff again. I do not have a desktop right now

Zamykam kartę, wychodzę z aplikacji, otwieram ją ponownie i karta którą wcześniej zamykałem jest znowu otwarta. Nie mogę zamykać kart, mam przez ten błąd bardzo dużo otwartych kart

For some reason, Mozilla is showing me different folders in the "new bookmark" dialog than it is when I go into my actual bookmarks. I added a new subfolder through the "new bookmark" dialog, but it isn't showing up when I open my bookmarks menu. I then tried adding a subfolder in the bookmarks menu to see if it worked the other way around, but that folder isn't showing up in the "new bookmark" dialog either. Ideas? Suggestions? I'm a relatively new Firefox user, and this is really frustrating me!

I'm using Firefox browser on my Android phone and when I visit a website zoom.earth the animation whether it be a wind a precipitation lags a lot. On the same phone, if i use Chrome, the animation plays out smooth. Why?
