Hello, I have an issue with my History: I only have back until September. I left the country for 3 months, but had made a research before and I lost it, it is very annoying. Is there a way to save more than 2 months? In the settings, I said "save History". I have Win 8 and FF 25.0.1 Thank you for your help.

Firefox shouldn't remove history under normal conditions as there is no longer a time range restriction.

Did you ever reset Firefox or created a new profile or otherwise had problems with the places.sqlite file that stores the history and bookmarks?

When you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and the current profile folder is moved to the desktop to an "Old Firefox Data" folder.

There are other ways to remove the history like external cleanup software.
