I am customer of Bank Of Baroda in India. They extensively use applets for security. Their site is accessible at https://bobibanking.com/. Click on 'Retail User' and then on next page click 'Login'. This is the page which loads Java Applet.

Everything was perfectly alright till Firefox21 and Java 7.23 i suppose. Then Java was upgraded and the site started me showing message that "Your browser is not JAVA enabled." and blocked me. But this was happening on Safari & Chrome also. So that was problem with Java. I upgraded to latest browser versions and all possible tweaks but it was not working. Then this latest Java was released (7.25.8) and when i upgraded my Mac OS X Lion for that Java, Safari started working fine immediately. Hats off to seamless integration of Apple. But Firefox is still in problem. I tried all possible things. I also tested Java Version of FireFox on java.com and it shows latest version, which means it refers to correct JRE. But the applets of BOB, those run on Safari, don't run on Firefox.

There are 2 more people struggling on the same thing and on Firefox Community. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/969639#answer-476151 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/958847?page=2#answer-476147 They are also fedup and shifting to other solutions like windows-IE. This is not good i feel.

And you know the best part is, it works perfectly on Chrome even though it's 32Bit! Whats wrong with Firefox?? Please reply on this.
