Downloaded Version 17.01 and by mistake have browser setting at wiseconver customized web search. Trying to reset firefox to its default state. won't work Help

I updated to 17.01 on my desktop and by mistake have set the search to ""wiseconvert customized web search. At the bottom a window comes up that says "Browser Settings Change. --an unknown change was detected on your browser's search settings and 'keep my current settings' is highlighted. Nothing works except an alarm beep and I have to shut down my whole system. I have tried resetting the firefox to its default state by troubleshooting and by windows. Have also uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. It still goes back to the wiseconvert setting and nothing works. I have to shut down the whole system again. Can you help?

I this an extension that you unknowingly installed? Look at your add-ons tab and uninstall it if it's there.
