firefox redirecting to google.com insted of link when searched directly through address bar.

hello everyone, 

Whenever i search Google directly from address bar it show me search results, but problem is, when i click any link, instead of opening that link i am redirected to Google.com with no results. initially i thought it might be some bug on Google but same method of searching is working fine on other browsers. 
   Has anyone else faced such problems. what might be the reason and solution to it.

NOTE: i am facing such problem after i have upgraded to firefox 10.

spec: browser: firefox 10 OS: windows 7, 64bit.
