RSS.php is not recognized by the RSS reader.

Many of the sites I am currently following include rss.php files for their feeds. I am having issues subscribing to these feeds through Firefox 4.0.1. I have tried downloading/installing a number of add ons including the bar icon that tells me which feeds are live. However, as I said it doesn't seem to like the rss.php form.

It gives me the error code of "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it"
