I've been using Firefox for about 8 months and all of a sudden, last night, I can't bring up Gmail. I get a message "Bad Request error 400". I'm not having this problem on my other laptop.

This problem only exists on 1 laptop, not the other. Nothing has changed. I have run my Norton Security and checked for any viruses. Nothing showed up.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
