Since 3.6 upgrade on W7-64, firefox is crawing. Sometimes several seconds before seeingt the text I am typing. Plugin-container.exe is using up to 25% of cpu.
In the past two days, my brand new HP s5610f dual core computer Firefox sessions seem to get slower and slower the more I use it. It gets to the point that Windows says Firefox is not responding for awhile. The text I am typing now, sometimes takes several seconds to catch up. I have 7 tabs open, and it cannot keep up to my slow typing. It is a dual core Athlon, and no other user initiated programs are running. The only way to get some of the speed back is to restart the computer. When I have 10 or 12 tabs open, the program sometimes is on the ball and sometimes stalls for 10 seconds or more.
