I installed and setup the Firfox Sync. It was disappeared in the Tools and Options after the Firefox is relaunched and need to re-install again. I'm using Firefox 3.6.10, OS Windows 7 Premium 64 bit.
Firefox Sync has been installed in my notebook but when the Firefox relaunch again, the Firefox Sync cannot be found in the Tools as if it has not been installed and can't find on the add-on list.

Sync is built-in to Firefox 4, so you don't need the add-on.
Do you still see the add-on disappearing in Firefox 3.6.16, if you don't want to upgrade to Firefox 4?
I have a similar problem. Most icons disappear on "Customize" Further the disappeared icons are also not available on the customized list. The address bar and the Google sear bar also gone.
