Try to force the update. See Update Firefox to the latest release.
The latest version for Windows 7 is 102.15.1 115.2.1esr ESR.
Firefox 116 requires Windows 10 as the minimum and users on Windows 7 and 8 and 8.1 will be moved to Firefox 115 ESR.

Sorry... still same with 115.0.3 update, funny it's showing 32bit not 64bit, why is this?
Your browser does not support Graphics API "WebGL2"
Dave
The current version for Windows 7 (and 8, 8.1) is 115.2.1 esr as 115.0.3 was released back on July 27, 2023.
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr
Make sure the Which version would you like? drop menu has 115.2.1 esr selected as the 102.15.1esr is selected by default even though it is the last major update for the older Fx 102 ESR branch.
If you downloaded the older Fx 115.0.3 from a random download site then they may only be serving the 32-bit Firefox instead of 64-bit for Windows.

I dunno whats going on here.... I really don't!
I did not update it Firefox updated, it did update again shortly after to 115.2.1 esr but it's still showing 32bit...... before all this fiasco it was merrily working away on x64bit until yesterday.
Where do you see the 32-bit ?
Where is Firefox installed ? Do you possibly have an installation in both locations ?
- (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
Help tab then clicking About Firefox. Firefox installed on the C drive. Whooooa that's gotta be it hasn't it? Clicking Start, open Firefox location.....C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox. I've been looking at that and it never 'twigged', there's nothing in the other C section relating to Firefox
The only thing I can think of is to remove the lot, clearing the registry and re-installing (don't worry, I've done it before - AND I always keep a cloned drive), have I got that right AND to be sure it's x64bit, you wouldn't happen to have a link to that would you?
Well, I gotta say was the only problem was with GL2, it was zippy at that. I'll probably try get it done over the week end.
Thank you for your help to date, let you know how it goes, by the way, it did work on another browser indicating a Firefox issue.
Thanks again, Dave
You can search the about:support page for WebGL 2 to see what is reported.

The full setups of 64-bit (Win64) Firefox 115.2.1esr is available at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr
Other web browsers like Chromium, Chrome, Edge, Opera dropped support of the EOL Windows 7, 8, 8.1 back in January/February this year.
NO GO....!
I cleared all as said, registry - the lot. I down loaded and installed Firefox 115.2.1esr (64bit) and is showing 'up to date'
I'm still getting 'Your browser does not support graphics API "WebGL2" on Facebook games.
I went into 'about:config' checked that WebGL2 was enabled, it was. yet the darn page loads with Google Chrome - this clearly is a Firefox issue.
Oh, and Firefox is in the C drive this time and is showinbg x64. I can post all the trouble shooting info if required.

Does it still happen in a new profile? Alternatively you could refresh your existing profile.

Sorry folks, think I made a dogs dinner and double posted, you can delete of of them.
Yes I tried a new profile still the same, at the moment I use Edge to use Facebook, also works OK on Google Chrome. Dave
Do you see a spinning cube at https://get.webgl.org/?
Hi thanks cor-el for the reply. Clicking the V1 link I get, 'This borwser supports GL1', Clicking the V2 link I get 'This browser supprts GL2, bit it is dis-abled or unavailable.
I'm running an AMD A-5400K APU, I don't use a graphic card.... I have no problems at all when using Google Chrome or Edge browsers so what gives?
I'm a wee bit confused with TyDraniu reply I'm afraid, I do think thats why I double posted, I did try searching.
Dave
Whooooa, hang on is this anything to do with it? It say's 'Win32 'Browser User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0'
In Help About Firefox it states 115.2.1esr (64bit) the install is in the 64, bit folder.
Edit: I do see a spinning cube on the test

Like I posted above and TyDraniu wrote as well, you need to open the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page and check what is reported about "WebGL 2".
Go to about:config in the address bar and try changing webgl.force-enabled to true then restart the browser.
WebGL1 seems to be working: I do see a spinning cube on the test. There is only a problem with WebGL2
Clicking the V1 link I get, 'This borwser supports GL1', Clicking the V2 link I get 'This browser supprts GL2, bit it is dis-abled or unavailable.
