Doesn't appear on other logins (attached) - just Google gmail login appears to be the issue.

Have you tried following the guidance in those previous support questions?

The background color of that section of the form doesn't match the rest of the page for some reason.

Could you change your Firefox from "Automatic" web appearance to "Light" and see whether that makes any difference: Change website appearance settings in Firefox.

Could you try disabling High Contrast Mode/color overriding to see whether that makes any difference: Disable high contrast mode in Firefox.
