My Firefox keeps working perfectly if I don’t update it. But it asks me to update it twice every time I boot it. Firefox crashes every time I update it and with different messages. Previously it said unable to do something (load / install / locate etc) with “XPCOM.” I inserted screen dump for you but it doesnt work in here.

--- Next firefox crash – silly me tried the update again. So I tried installing the ORIGINAL download again and this occurred - another screen dump you cant receive.

I tried installing Firefox from my working IMMAGED SSD through the USB 3 – exactly the same problem.

SO: I COPIED the “Mozilla Firefox” from my IMMAGED SSD / Program Files / Mozilla Firefox, through the USB to the laptop C drive SSD / Program Files / Mozilla Firefox. It requested administrator rights and I agreed then it finished copying and now Firefox works again. This remedy to the Firefox persistent update problem works every time, I just have to avoid clicking the update button.
