Auto Enabling Add-ons
Hi,
We currently use Firefox 52.1.2 in our environment. We have an antivirus that when installed plugs an add-on into Firefox.
By default it is disabled, is there a way to automatically enable this add-on without any user intervention?
I've searched online but I am unable to find a solution, if there is one can someone point me to the right direction?

What's your computer system? What anti-virus are you using? Are you having problems with one add-on or all of them?
There are two types of Add-ons. There are the Extensions that you find and install. And there are also Plugins. These are from other programs that are on your system when Firefox starts. Like video players, anti-virus, and many more.

Computer running Windows 7 with SP1. Anti-virus is F-Secure 13.10
My apologies, this is not an add-on. it is infact an Extension.
The name of the Extension is "Browsing Protection by F-Secure".
When F-Secure is installed it loads this into each browser, I can use Policy for Chrome and IE so it is Enabled.
I would like to do something similar so that within Firefox it is automatically Enabled.
There are no other Extensions installed other than this one.
I avoid A/V extension like a malware they are tracking your habits and they should only work when downloading or installing to check for virus or malware hidden packages.

I do agree with you, however in our organisation it has been requested, from a security view, that this is automatically enabled in Firefox as we have done with Internet Explorer and Chrome (both via Group Policy).
Whether I agree with it or not I have to carry out this action but I can only do this if it is infact possible, otherwise "it is what it is".
