How would you fix this, or what is the problem?
I really don't know what's wrong with my laptop as hen ever I download anything it doesn't download the shortcut icon but instead a firefox shortcut link which redirects me to re-download the who entire program every time I wanna access it .Its the best I can describe my problem , any suggestion?

What's your computer system and Firefox version?
Explain in detail how you are downloading a file. Are you using "Save As?"
Its the windows 7 premium N i think i use the newest version and yh i save the download and then open it and proceed with installing it but if i want to re-open the program it sends me to a link, that makes me save the file again and repeat the procees

Well theres 4 option i got but the 2 values are: 20180128191252 which is for some override and the second one is 58.0.1 the other one says its true and the first one is some sort of link is the best i could describe it

Yh, i have but every time I close the browser and open it again and check it again, I would have to reset it again
