How do I disable the allow to open a new window from a link in an email
When i click a link in an email firefox asks if I want to allow the link to open. How do I remove this step?

The "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" warning is meant as an accessibility feature so people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and isn't meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
In Firefox 56+ the "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" setting can no longer be found in Options/Preferences.
You can modify this pref on the about:config page to enable or disable this feature

Yes, that is the setting I wrote about in my above reply, so you can check accessibility.blockautorefresh on the about:config page and reset this pref via the right-click context menu to the default value.

I realize this is off-topic, but I'm wondering about that seemingly empty Bookmarks Toolbar below your address bar. Any idea what might be causing that?
To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:
- right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
- (menu bar) View > Toolbars
On Windows, tap the Alt key to activate the menu bar temporarily. - in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
To switch the visibility of the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.

Jscher2000: I don't use the bookmark menu. I have all my link pinned to new tab feature, Thank you though.
