Hi when I am trying to send a mail from Thunderbird, I frequently get a message saying " An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: HTTP/1.1 303 see other". It gets temporarily resolved by restarting the laptop but comes up again in a little while.When I get on to webmail the problem is not there. I use smtp. I would be grateful for any help on this. thanks suresh

ok we will have to do this by the numbers I think. Big daddy has always been problematical because they tend to sell product into the bottom end of the market. Low cost and not fully featured.
