Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.
i am using firefox regularly and recently i am facing a problem while working with www.esic.in it is not working well, after appearing esic web portal home page after click to login the browser it self goes slow, veryyyyy slow, even in next tab my home page(i.e. google )is also not opening
i uninstalled the browser and reinstalled it i rebooted the my computer i tried all the way but i cant find any solution for this

What is your computer system and Firefox?
What you describe sounds like the computers CPU is being overworked.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?

Please make sure Firefox has the time to closedawn properly. Sometimes it runs in to problems. If it fails to closedown properly, it then may have problems trying to start up normally.
Try to make sure you close Firefox by using the Firefox menu button then the quit button. Allow it at least ten minutes to closdown before considering powering off the computer or closing down the Operating System.
