I am running Windows 7 on a six-month old Asus desktop. I have the current version of Firefox. I left the computer on and came back the next day and found that, in my absence--when no work was being done whatsoever--that Firefox had crashed. It came back up with no difficulty, but this is not the first time that it has happened. It happens pretty infrequently, but it's still of some concern.

1st crash report = lpxpcom.dll = LastPass = 2015-11-16 must be the crash that happened when you left it running 2nd = plugin Shockwave Flash Version: 19.0.0.245 = 2015-11-22

Looks like you have the most recent version of LastPass. Other than visiting LastPass support, the best I can offer is to disable that add-on if you need the PC running unattended.

I generally leave the computer on for weeks at a time. There just doesn't seem to be any compelling reason to turn it off between uses. Sometimes it's five or ten minutes between sessions, sometimes it can be 12 or more hours between sessions. I had been under the impression that leaving it on did it no harm and, except for the cost of electricity, "cost" me nothing.

I also gather from your note that the second crash I listed was caused by Flash, which a while back I decided to handle via Flash Control. Should I make some kind of change there as well?
