Firefox for Android displays blank web pages but shows thumbnails
When I use Firefox for Android, I do not get websites displayed any more. Instead, I see a blank page. However, when I click on on the top right icon where one can see an overview of the different tabs, the preview pictures show the websites that I have loaded.
I have to admit that I recently tried to improve the security settings, so maybe this problem is related.
I changed (most of) the following settings:

While I could reverse all, I would prefer to find out exactly what setting or issue is causing the problem. I hope you can help me with that. Many thanks!

I am pretty sure its a number of them and it would be better to browse in private mode to keep the functionality.
For example: browser.cache.disk.enable false browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl false browser.cache.offline.enable
The cache stores history and top sites, this is why those panels are blank. In order to remove panels, customize your menu in the Settings > Customize section of the three dot menu.
For the network settings you can just change Firefox settings to not save cookies.
So not to change anything, you can also install Firefox Beta from the play store in order to see a difference before making the changes you did.
