Link to open magazine in Flipster app gives error

When reading a magazine on Flipster website there is a link to click to open the magazine in the Flipster app. When this link is followed in Firefox for Android it results in the error "Couldn't find an app to open this link."

This is on an HTC M8. When I use the HTC internet browser the Flipster link works as expected and opens the Flipster app.

How do I program Firefox to know to open the Flipster app?
