Android 16 phone, Fennec v148.0.0

When I simply want to save the page I am on to my bookmarks, I press the Bookmarks icon, then I go to the destination folder, and there I have several icons but no option to save.

I've used Firefox a long time on different platforms, bookmarks get duplicated, irrelevant and numerous for the same websites.

When I try to rationalize them the workflow does not allow me to easily bin the superfluous ones without opening the site and then only removes the title not the web address.

The computer work flow is much better but as mobiles are now more frequently used as main devices, would it not be sensible to change this behaviour for a better workflow?

I am experiencing a bug where subfolders do not appear in the "Select folder" screen. In the Bookmarks manager, my folders exist correctly. However, when I try to save a new bookmark, the "Select folder" screen only shows the root "Bookmarks" folder. Even if I tap the ">" icon to expand, the subfolders are not displayed. Please please stop this side swipe delete in Collections. Every time I hold the phone at a slight angle the tiniest sideways movement deletes the saved URL. It's driving me nuts and it's not needed as there is a delete X there. Thanks

Hello. Good morning. Bookmark management in the mobile version is very strange. As far as I can tell, managing bookmarks in folders and subfolders is almost impossible and unusable. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us for so many years. I wish you to continue to be useful and cool for humanity.

The newest update 144.0.1 now has numbers next to bookmark folders. I don't need nor want this info. How do I disable this setting?

Fix saving bookmarks like it a) was earlier. You select wanted folder from the list.

b) alternatively, in settings where you can select folder where save bookmark always saves (instead of last used, in windows, Linux, android...). This would be the best option.

I foolishly upgraded to the latest Android mobile version. I like my bookmarks kept in the order I set them. Firefox, with the new version has decided they should be alphabetical once again. I have turned off this annoying behaviour in previous versions by disabling Compose Bookmarks in the secret settings. This option is no longer visible. How do I get my bookmarks back in the order want and stop firedox from screwing them up again?

What is this obsession the development team have with screwing up user bookmark organisation? This keeps coming back like a bad penny.

All of a sudden I am getting an "Invalid URL" error when trying to bookmark a website on Firefox mobile. I have tried pages with different extensions (.com, .org, .tv). I cleared the cache and restarted my phone. Did not work. I have the latest Firefox mobile 142.0.1 and a Samsung A25.

Android Collections feature needs work. 1. It's too easy to accidentally delete a bookmark from collections. Slight of hand and it's gone. Needs a confirm delete option. 2. Can't order or edit bookmarks in collections.

Windows 11 There is a way to go to a utility to sort bookmarks, but utility does not translate the sorted order back to the browser menu making it useless.

I reported this once before. I got an arrogant response saying: I'm just a volunteer here I can't do this. I don't have a bugzilla account. I have no way to report these to developers.

I have a lot of bookmarks and lot means A LOT OF. When I add any bookmark to a specific folder, then the list becomes a mess. I can't find any folder easily where I want to add new bookmark. It's so inconvenient and time-consuming. So, I request you to please address this issue and improve the bookmark section. I'll be very thankful to you.
