when I get new tab I don't seem to be able to connect with web site I am asking for. In addition right click not dot get the menu of command. I just updated with 154.0

see above- nothing works I have not installed most recent update as I have been at a hospital 9 days with wife in ICU I really need to pay bills very soon and return to normal, loving on her and loving Firefox loyal 10 yr user- hope you can help will check tomorrow-thanks

When I am in a web page and am asked to link to another URL using the standard link system, it never works. It is a black image framing choices of which browser I want to use and "Firefox" is usually highlighted. When I click on the link, nothing happens. I want to know how to make it work, because the actual URL is seldom if ever listed. I'll send an image to help (I hope).

Mac Mini Pro M4, MacOs 26.6.1, Firefox 153.0.4 When I click on a "mailto" link I get a pop up that says select an app for mailto. In this popup, Firefox shows as the suggested app. I click on it and I get a message that says This Can Be Changed in Firefox Settings. When i select Firefox in this popup nothing happens. When I look at the mailto setting in Firefox it clearly says Firefox. Help. Thanks, Pete D.

Windows 10, Firefox 131, Thunderbird 91.13 I set Firefox as default browser - I can't open links from Thunderbird in Firefox. I set Chrome as default browser - I can open links from Thundebird in Chrome. How can I fix or debug this?

MacOS: If not already running, Firefox does not load requested URL on launch MacOS 26.5.2, Firefox 152.0.4

How to reproduce: 1) Set Firefox as the default browser 2) Completely quit Firefox 3) Open a URL (e.g. open Spotlight, type a query, select "Search the web", or any of the many other ways) 4) Observe Firefox opens but does not open a tab with the externally requested URL

This used to work fine. It still works on Windows. Reproduced on two different Macs. If Firefox is already running, it works as expected.

I was trying to install a minecraft modpack about 2 days ago using curseforge, but now randomly when my browser is open this pop-up will appear even though i havent visited curseforge since then

Firefox using the changeable drop-down menu of search providers, hides page URLs. I use them all the time to link out to others, etc. Can this behavior be toggled on/off?

Since the latest beta update, Beta, v. 154.0b5 (64-bit) I cannot select or highlight text in either the address or search bars. Is this a known problem? (See red arrows in screenshot)

On every browser I've ever used for all of my internet using life, including THIS browser, when you hover your cursor over a link, a cartoony hand appears and the link URL appears at the bottom. Very recently, I write on 7/27/26, this no longer works on Firefox. WTF?

Hello: Suddenly when I go to click on a hyperlink in the body of an email, nothing happens. (I might see the pinwheel for a few seconds, but that vanishes and nothing is opened).

I am using: Firefox 152.0.5 (64-bit) Windows 10 Roadrunner email through Spectrum

Is this a Firefox issue or an email issue? Thanks in advance for any help!

When a link from outside Firefox opens the desktop browser, it displays the default home page but does not continue on to the URL specified in the link. This is new for me in V 152.0.6 (aarch64) . Mac OS 26.5.2 (25F84)

When I click a link multiple Firefox windows open all with the profile select. I close them one by one but clicking the link again opens the same five windows. Where is this behavior stored?

So whenever I click on new tabs, it always leads to a redirect notice asking me to confirm if I want to open those tabs.

I want it so that I don't get these notices, but the links I click on just open automatically. I have tried the following settings in about:config based on a few threads online:

accessibility.blockautorefresh

network.http.redirection-limit

A few other settings to that I have turned on and off but no difference.

A lot of the websites are also confusing because they seem to want to turn redirects ON rather than off, so potentially I am struggling to follow the correct information.

Any help appreciated.
