Hello,

In the last few days, my Firefox has been changing languages on its own. Today, after an update, a language like Swedish or something similar appeared.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Italian language no longer works. I tried other languages, and when I restart Firefox, they work. I try the Italian language, and it never works.

Why is that?

Firefox is ignoring my preferred language and using the Japanese versions of every single website I go to. My only preferred language is English, there is NOTHING else. This has been happening for months now, and the only way I've found to deal with this is to turn on a VPN, and I don't want to have to turn on a VPN every time I'm using this search engine. Just to add extra information, I live in Japan, this wouldn't happen if I were in the US, but I'm not in the US, and the search engine knows that, and keeps putting me on Japanese websites. This is getting really frustrating and it seems like the settings cannot do anything. Also I am aware there is a translation feature, but it takes long to load depending on the page, isn't accurate, and doesn't translate everything.

Hallo, ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht meine Sprache im Settings umzustellen. Habe mich genau an die Anleitung gehalten. Aber ich bekomme einfach nicht die Sprache umgestellt. Ich will es auf Deutsch umstellen aber es bleibt alles beim englisch. Ich habe Cache schon gelöscht, habe meinen VPN ausgeschaltet und mehrfach den PC hochgefahren. Was läuft da bei mir falsch. Da ich kein englisch kann ist es etwas schwierig hier alles dann zu verstehen. Ich benutze Linux Ubuntu. Danke für die Hilfe.

Nach dem Update vom Oktober kann Firefox nicht mehr auf Deutsch angezeigt werden. Die Umstellung auf Deutsch in den Einstellungen haben keine Wirkung. Was ist zu tun?

Firefox: Sprache ein Mischmasch aus Deutsch/Englisch. Trotz dass die Einstellungen nur auf Deutsch, sind die Menüs in Englisch! Wie bekomme ich es hin, dass ALLES nur in Deutsch ist?

It only happens on some websites (Wikipedia for one) and doesn't happen anywhere else in my system. I was unable to root out the reason for this and all solutions seem to be for when there are boxes instead. I don't see boxes, only Russian letters for some reason.

All of a sudden Firfox changed to an unrecognizable language + alphabet. I uninstalled + reinstalled Firefox 2 more times + the same thing happened. If I try to change settings, everything is in illegible.

Sur un MacBook Pro sous OS X 10.9.5 j'ai chargé firefox 78.0.2 64Bit et il est impossible de changer le language pour le mettre en francais. Pouvez-vous m'aider, merci

I have not found where I can stop autotraslation, not just for "this side". I'm really confused when you start read in swedish, and than after a while I comming accross fucking stupid trasnslations, and have to go back and off translate.

Rất mong cộng đồng hoặc đội ngũ phát triển có thể chia sẻ thêm thông tin về việc liệu tính năng này có nằm trong kế hoạch phát triển tương lai hay không, và nếu có thì dự kiến khi nào sẽ ra mắt. Hello! Why do I get all of the Tools Menu in english when I've chosen Norsk Bokmål as standard language for my use at sites/streaming etc. What is the purpose of selecting the desired language if the tool options are only displayed in English?

Actually, I need to add sinhala language to the Firfox transalator. There isn't sinhalese to translate any kind of website or other article etc. So if i can add sinhala language to the firfox translator it can be verry helped full and usefull for me. So i kindly inform you to send me any meterial or technical information to fix that.

I've tried to install the language pack for english to have swedish and english spelling checked on my computer. I've added it like the discription mentions but it doesn't show as an option when I try to change it.

So there's a function where you select Korean character ㄱ~ㅎ and press Hanja(Han/Chinese letter) Convert key, you can convert it to special symbols

The issue is: when you press Convert key while inputting a word without space, it automatically selects the first letter of the word(Yes the text cursor moves front itself)

In every website includes search bar

You need to menually select a letter by mouse drag or shift key And then press Convert key to show the intented converting list

Idk how long it's been but the issue is pretty old

Additionally, you have intermittent Korean letter seperating issue, too("한글" -> "ㅎㅏㄴㄱㅡㄹ")

(For who suffer from the same issue, you can use Naver Whale browser instead)

In dem Sie das update in der bisher genutzten Sprache (Deutsch) ausliefern. Der Versuch den Firefox V143 auf Deutsch umzustellen ist mit der Auskunft gescheitert das Firefox V143 nicht mit "deutsch" kann. Wäre gut wenn sie einen Pätsch nachschieben der den Firefox in Deutsch auftreten lässt.
