Is it possible to make a donation to Mozilla without providing so much personal information? I got a message on Firefox today asking for a donation, but when I tried to do that, I was asked for my home address. It's a general rule of internet marketing that people who use the internet would rather do anything than pay for something, so it's bad psychology to impose unnecessary conditions when you're asking for a donation. I don't have to provide my home address when I make donations to other organisations, so why does Mozilla need my home address? I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I can't find anywhere else to ask it!

After a re-start, my Firefox browser on a Dell laptop lost all history and has since also not been collecting websites visited. When opening a new tab, the shortcuts and recently visited websites are also gone and no longer being collected. My CCleaner recently updated itself to a new version but I unchecked the delete history for Firefox (which treacherously is clicked by default - I fell into that trap before). Happy to blame the new CCleaner but that would not explain why history is not being collected now - to me the fault seems to lie with Firefox instead. Another possibility that went through my mind: Is Microsoft sabotaging users of Windows 11 to force them to buy new? PS: Under "Privacy", "History", the setting is "Firefox will remember history", as it always has been and should be. But it has forgotten all previous history and it is no longer collecting any new history either!

I made the mistake I will never make again of signing into a Mozilla account in Firefox. Suddenly everything about the browser was completely different. I realized it had synced to my primary computer without asking me a [expletive] thing about what I wanted to sync or if I wanted to do that now.

How do I unsync the second computer so that Firefox goes back to the way it was before the unexpected forced sync? I had those settings the way I wanted them for a reason.

Hello, After performing a clean install of the OS, I logged in to my firefox account. But it is not syncing the passwords. I tried installing firefox to my phone, also not syninc. I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

So how do I get them running? A significant portion of the internet runs on WebM and the fact that Mozilla's own dev docs can't show examples is a good indication of a problem.

Firefox freezes when I try to sign into YouTube via Google. Becomes totally unresponsive and I have to close browser. It's the only site this happens on. I have cleared the cache and cookies, unchecked "Hardware Acceleration" and other recommendations from other posts. Please talk to me like I'm your Baby Boomer dad.

Hi, I'm having difficulty getting tabs to open as I prefer.

I have browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent set to true.

When I right click on a link and select Open Link in New Tab, it does open the new tab next to the current one. However, if I then repeat to open another new tab, this appears to the right of the first one, rather than right next to the current tab.

So, if I open a series of tabs, they appear 1 2 3 4 5 next to current. I would like them to appear 5 4 3 2 1.

Is there another setting that is interfering? I wondered if the tab groups settings are making a difference?

Another site that I can only view in Chrome. I'm not saying this happens every day, but still more often than it should. This is in about:support/troubleshooting mode. Won't get beyond what you see. Loads right up in Chrome.

I am unable to navigate around some websites beyond the page on which I have landed. The site briefly (split second) looks OK and then gets slightly greyed and no other links on the site are accessible. Examples of sites: https://www.signia.net/en-gb/ https://www.flickr.com/

Anyone got any ideas?

Multiple profiles are for different behaviour on the same, say Linux device, with different settings How does this interact with syncing? E.g., I want different settings, but the tabs should be synced?
