Firefox has stopped working about 5 times in the last few days while browsing? sometimes on Youtube sometimes it just completely freezes and wont even close with task manager I had to force my pc to reboot yetserday because it wouldnt respond, my pc is rock solid stable while doing anything else including gaming and is 16 months old and have never crashed even once???

Hi I have lost all my browsing history and nothing I browse is saved. Also all my bookmarks have disappeared and I can't save anything even clicking on the star doesn't do anything I have quite a bit of stuff bookmarked, can you help? The browsing history and my bookmarks seemed to disappear at the same time.

When logging in to a website that I use many times every day all day, all of a sudden I log on and all I get is a blank white screen. I have tried clearing everything, restarting Firefox, removing Firefox and re-installing it, rebooting the computer, starting Firefox in the safe mode but no change. The same problem shows up on three different computers on two different networks with two different ISPs. The website opens normally on Edge and Chrome. I would prefer to be able to use Firefox. Using version 139.0.4 (64-bit) on all three computers. I would really appreciate any help that is available.

im using firefox on ubuntu, version 139.0.4. when i browse the internet using firefox, every some time the toolbar and the search bar "freeze" - i am unable to click anything, from the url, to any of the buttons. it takes up to like 1/2 minutes for the search bar and the toolbar to work again. i never had this issue before, neither on ubuntu (and other linux distributions), nor on windows...

As the title states, every time I try to zoom into a page using pinch and zoom with my touch-pad, firefox nightly crashes. However, if I try to zoom in using CTRL+ and CTRL-, it works just fine.

I have tried to disable hardware acceleration but it didnt help.

Hello. Why doesn't Fiery Fox release a portable version of the browser? What if everything was in one folder and didn’t shit throughout the entire system?

Was reviewing my Settings. Looked under Privacy & Security, Browser Privacy, Certificates, View Certificates. The Certificate Manager has many listed under “Authorities.” Some look suspicious. How do I determine which are valid and which should be deleted?

I’m using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 11 (currently v126.0), and I’ve noticed a recurring issue: the browser freezes for a few seconds when I switch between tabs, especially if one of the tabs contains a media-heavy website (like YouTube or online editors).

The browser doesn’t crash, but becomes unresponsive for 5–10 seconds before catching up. Task Manager shows a CPU spike during the freeze. I’ve tried the following:

-Clearing cache -Disabling all extensions -Running in Troubleshoot Mode -Updating graphics drivers

None of these solved the issue.

Is this a known problem? Any suggestions on how to fix or further debug it?

firefox not discarding tabs automatically even though i have tab discarding on in about:config via "browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory=true" "browser.tabs.min_inactive_duration_before_unload=60000"

also if i discard them manually from about:unloads manually whenever i restart firefox all discarded tabs come back to life is it supposed to do that?

I just need some help to stop techlorex from popping up as its constant and all day every day, There is no app and I search the system but nothing comes up, It pops up on one app I delete the app and it comes up on another one. Hello, I received an email from you asking me to change my Firefox password for account security reasons. When I changed it, all the data synced in Firefox with my email was deleted. This upset me greatly because I lost important data and saved websites. Please restore the deleted data. Thank you.

Firefox no longer opens up an html page when the link is in the email. The link can be opened manually. I have received email notifications that my email program does not handle html content emails. This started a couple of weeks or a month or so ago. I suspected Thunderbird was the problem so I removed it and installed the latest version. No change everything the same. So is the problem in Firefox ? As I installed Firfox with Ubuntu I need to wait on Ubuntu to fix the problem. Please help me get logged in to my YouTube Premium account on my Firefox browser. For a long time it's been working fine on Firefox n ow today I get some kind of error message when I try to log in.
