Trying to set up sync. I'm told my email address is already in use. How do I get it accepted?

It is my valid email address at gmail. Why is it rejected and preventing me from setting up sync? I use Windows8 and Linux Mint.

Try to reset Lost or Forgotten Password or delete sync account:
