Firefox 6.01 crashes and will not restart

I have been using ver 5.xx with no issues. Upgraded recently to ver 6.xx. Ran for some time with no issues, But just recently a new minor upgrade was installed and then it crashed on restart. And it will not even start in safe mode. I deleted it and reinstalled it but it crashed just the same. Only fix was to remove it and run ver 5 again. But then it upgraded today and i am having the same issue..
